Everyone has a reason to not be annexed from taxation without representation to the taxes, permits, fees, garbage collection rules, and raising response times of services from current out-of-city levels could bankrupt your business or home.
Urbanites should not want to share their police, fire, ambulance, and road repair services they have been waiting for with a new area the first day of annexation. Increasing response times for all.

Thank you for helping us fight for what is right!
Until our work is done.

We boarded the bus in Burleson 7:30 am, and disembarked at 11:30 pm.
What a great bunch of folks. The quarum of the Land and Resource Managment Committee
who stayed to 7:50pm in the hearing room all seemed on our side,
but one - I guess those opposed stayed away, but they were the ones we needed to pursuade.
There is streaming video for people with decent web connections at
Texas House of Representatives archives, click above on the "quarum stayed to listen" box.
You don't have to miss the big stuff, like TML, Darlia and Bobby Hobbs sitting in front row,
San Antonio city representative questioned by Leibowitz. But it is over 6 hours long,
the first three hours are different bills when we did not speak.
