WHO WE ARE . . .

Rainbow Animal Refuge is a nonprofit, 501(C)(3) organization made of strictly
volunteers who have a love of animals. Established in 1996, we are dedicated
to caring for and placing abandoned and abused animals in Butler County.
All animals are fostered in a home until a permanent home is found and they
receive veterinarian care with the necessary inoculations and are spayed/neutered
when age appropriate. We generate revenues by the means of fund-raisers,
donations, grant, endowments, memorials, bequests and adoption donations.
We have several exciting programs, such as our PAL program and our newest,
Adopt-A-Barn Cat program.

Did you adopt an animal from Rainbow Animal Refuge? If so, we are requesting that you send a brief story and a picture of your loved one so we may assemble a Happy Home Board to take to events and to put on our web site. People enjoy seeing animals and reading about the success of pet ownership. We have heard some funny, happy, and even sad stories about the animals you've adopted through us and we would like to share it with others.  Please mail all info to R. J., 116 N. Church Rd. Chicora, PA 16025. If you want your story on our web site, scan your picture first and e-mail all info to us. Thank You for giving them a Happy Home.
