The Walton Eclipse 4 in 1 Bale Handling Attachment A Bale Handling Attachment for fork lift/telescopic handlers. The machine can function readily in different modes. Knight Goliath Cultivator This machine has been designed as a One Pass Minimum Tillage Cultivator. On the front of the machine is a 360mm diameter Roller with discs welded around it's circumference at 250 mm intervals. The front roller maintains a consistent working depth for the tines and the discs cut up any trash. Behind the front roller are four rows of staggered heavy duty spring tines at 250 mm spacing, These are fitted onto a frame that can be hydraulically adjusted to control working depth. Speed-loc sweep points are fitted to ensure all of the ground is moved. Next are the sub-surface tines which lift and loosen the soil below the normal working depth. These are spaced at 750 mm and are mounted on three beams. They are fitted with a hydraulic break-back system that can also be used to raise them out of work when they are not required. A row of hydraulic adjustable sprung negative rake dutch tines follow the sub-surface tines to level the ground in front of the press. To follow is a single press fitted with revolver rings. There are 700 mm in diameter with a sharp point and a broad shoulder to break up clods and consolidate the ground. These rings are in the familiar three segment bolted design as used on the triple press range of machines.

Kverneland Ecomat A Lightweight implement that inverts and tills the soil extremely effectively. Peal Twin Big Bag Filler - consisting of an in-feed elevator, a reversible top cross conveyor, feeding a lift platform either side. The bag support arms are fitted with trade approved weigh beams, the bags can be filled by level or by weight and the machine is fully automatic and controlled via a p.l.c. A big bag is suspended from the weigh arms by its side pockets with the bottom of the bag sitting on the platform. A similar bag is put on the other side and auto pressed. The platform is lifted which starts the conveyor and feed elevator. As the bag is being filled the platform is lowered: this is controlled via a sensor, once the bag is full the conveyor reverses, filling the other bag. The full bag is replaced by an empty one and the system continues to fill automatically.

The machine comprises 3 rows of vibro-fiex tines up front spaced out to maximize clearance and allow the even flow of large quantities of chopped straw. Moorland Fire Fighting Trailer Developed between a local land owner, Quad Bike Dealer and ourselves, we have produced the above named trailer. With large landowners becoming cost conscious we were approached to develop this trailer to reduce the amount of manpower it took burning heather and fighting moorland fires. The design is based around a galvanized tank, riding on fully floating twin axles with low ground pressure wheels and tyres. Above this tank is a compartment that includes a lockable Toolbar/store, water pump, pressure washer and retractable pressure washer lance. The above combine to produce a very maneuverable, efficient and effective fire fighting trailer.

Low Ground Pressure Attachment to increase traction in difficult conditions As lime spreading contractors using a Bredal trailed 10 ton machine, we are often faced with operating on wet land, i.e. black peat after potatoes, November onwards and get stuck: We have overcome this problem (80%) by designing a fully hydraulic lift axle in front of the spreaders main axle. It is controlled via the tractors spool valve and can be set as required to the soil conditions, this works because the lift axle wheels firm up the peat soil and causes less soil to build up in front of the main spreader wheels which in normal circumstances acts as a brake and down the spreader will go.

Sprayer Service Bench for safe measuring and filling of pesticides. Any spillages are contained and can be washed into sprayer or disposed of safely When filling the sprayer, especially with complicatedtank mixes, appropriate number(s) of full cans are placed on the bench before measuring and filling. This also gives the operator a method of checking that each ingredient has been put into the induction hopper. The bench is constructed of a 1" RHS oblong frame and legs. The main section holds an old baking tray (waterproof) which itself carries two plastic containers for the pesticide cans and measuring doses. I have added a third container (after trial use) to hold empty cans as filling progresses. The final addition was a "recipe" holder for the pesticide recommendations and doses per HA. Apart from the three plastic containers, which were bought as a pack for £5.00, all other materials were from scrap already on the farm. The original build time was less than one hour in the farm workshop, but obviously with the extras added and some tidying up of steel and welds: Total time was probably 3 ½ to 4 hours. The bench certainly makes life easier and safer for both the operator and the environment especially with the "voluntary initiative" on pesticides and spraying being so prominent in our thoughts.
