Part I: John Noble, Robert Hazlet, Mary Moran and Thomas Rogers of Meriden, CT: Irish Immigrants circa 1847.
Sarah McGlinn Donahue and James Donahue had a daughter, Sarah, in 1808 who married Robert Hazlett and had two children, John and Sarah before leaving Ireland (Castledergh in County Tyrone?) in 1847 for Meriden, CT. Daughter Sarah married Thomas Rogers, another Irish immigrant, there. John Francis Noble, yet another Irish immigrant to Meriden, married Mary Moran, still another Irish immigrant to Meriden, in 1868. Among relatives we've heard about but don't know are some named with all the surnames above as well as others named Waters, Dorsey, Bridget, Sloane ....
Part II: John James Sullivan and Mary Redding of County, Kerry, Ireland and Holyoke, MA.
James and Catherine Sullivan of Ballinskelligs in Kerry had 8 children around the 1870s: James, Julia, Bridget, Catherine, Daniel, Ellen, Mary and John. Some stayed in Ireland, others went to New Haven CT (like Ellen and Catherine) and still others went to Holyoke, like. John. Mary Spillane married Michael Redding in Ballybunion (Kerry) and had 6 children: Michael, Dennis, Thomas,john, Catherine and Mary. Mary emigrated to Holyoke MA where she married John Sullivan in 1902. For more information, see our other website above. Among the relatives we have heard about but don't know, besides Sullivans and Reddings, are others named Sullivan, Redding, McClain, Sheehan, Dillon, Tyson, Regan, Conway and Lyons.
