Diana Hayden in swimsuit competition. Diana was able to pick up the awards for Miss Photogenic and Best Look In Designer Beachwear in a virtual clean sweep. here she is shown in the preliminaries, to her right is Miss United States, to her left are Miss United Kingdom, and Miss South Africa. All four of these ladies placed in the semifinals! In another gallery you can see the crystal studded swimsuit which won her an award.

Diana is announced Miss World 1997. In the final 5 she quoted an Irish Poet "In dreams come responsibilities.."
