Who We Are
The Rose & Thorn is published quarterly and run by a
volunteer staff. Please see our

Our web magazine showcases short fiction,
poetry, essays, exclusive author interviews, literary articles and book
reviews. Our reading periods vary so please check our

Guidelines for regular updates. In addition, we provide a growing variety

The Rose & Thorn seeks to bring the voices of emerging
and established writers to a discerning Internet audience. Our readership
spans the globe, from Europe to Australia, from India to our own backyard
in the United States. In each issue, short fiction, poetry and other literary
articles reflect the diversity and brilliance of authors who have something
to say, and find unprecedented, imaginative ways in which to say it. In addition,
we are open to new ideas and concepts from visitors and participants to this
site.

Volunteer for a great site. Why? For the experience, for
the pleasure of learning and doing something you love, but most of all, to
enhance our global, literary community of which you are an important part.
We have several staff positions available at The Rose & Thorn. Seeking
strong, upbeat individuals who love all things literary. Positions open
include:
