M. Morgenstern
The Rose & Thorn (A Literary E-Zine)

Meredith Morgenstern was found on the doorstep of a run-down orphanage on a snowy Valentine's night in tropical Miami, Florida, with a note pinned to her swaddling clothes that read, 'Too noisy. You take her.' Her life's been an adventure ever since. It is widely believed in some circles that she is the reincarnation of a 14th century Russian peasant who was burned as a witch, but there is still no hard proof of this, and to this day Ms. Morgenstern maintains her innocence. When she's not agonizing over her first novel, she can be found banging the ergonomic keyboards of her day job at the lovely Christie's Auction House, Resort and Casino in sunny Rockefeller Center, New York City.

She enjoys reading, writing, going to the movies, Pilates, red wine, and making fun of women who dress up to go to sporting events, especially Yankees games. She loves snow and cloudy days and is allergic to the smell of freshly peeled oranges, which made a childhood in Florida somewhat tricky. She does not enjoy sending out rejection letters, contrary to popular belief.
