FUNERAL IN JEFFERSON FOR BARTON KLEOPFER
Mechanic Succumbs to Long Illness at Parent's Home

Madison, Ind., Nov. 20 - Funeral services for Barton Kleopfer, 49, who died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kleopfer, following a long illness, were planned at 2 p. m. today at the Kent Methodist Episcopal Church with burial in the Kent Cemetery.
Mr. Kleopfer, a native of Jefferson County and a skilled mechanic, was a member of the Kent Church. Surviving; besides his parents, are his wife, Mrs. Mary T. Kleopfer; three daughters, Dorothy Dell, Norma Jean and Peggy, Jefferson County; four brothers, Stanley, Charles, Byron and Harry, Jefferson County, and two sisters, Mrs. Armenius Tevis, Shelbyville, Ky., and Mrs. Garnett Lowe, Jefferson County.

Peggy E. Kleopfer Roberts, 75, Indianapolis, died June 27. She was a secretary 12 years at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tenn., retiring in 1988. She was a member of Chapel Wood Baptist Church. Memorial services: 1 p.m. June 29 in Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel, with calling from 11 a.m. Survivors: children Deborah Martin, Rick Roberts: sister Norma Webster; four grandchildren.
