Hello! My name is Luo Qian Ru (pronounced Low A Chee N Roo oo). I was born September 12, 1997. This picture of me was probably taken when I was 1 month old. I am living in the Shen Zhen Welfare Institute in Guangdong province, China.

I am waiting for my parents to come and get me and bring me to live with them in America. They are going to call me Chelsea Jane (my new mom's middle name is Jane, too).

My new mom and dad first heard about me on Monday, June 1, 1998, and first saw my picture on Thursday, June 4. They are very anxious to come and meet me.

Travel approval was received on 7/14/98. That means that as soon as plans can be arranged, my parents can come to get me.

They're coming soon! I get to meet them on August 10th. I know they are busy getting ready for the long journey to China.

We are finally done with all the official business. This shot was taken on our walk from the US consulate back to the White Swan Hotel.

I arrived home with my parents on 8/15/98 after a l-o-n-g flight. This is my first picture with my grandma and grandpa and aunt (my dad's family). It was taken at the airport shortly after we landed.
