HOARE
The Hoare family is traditionally descended from Phillipe le Hore, an
Anglo-Norman invader under Strongbow. Several Hoares also came to Ireland
as cromwellian officers and adventurers. The name is mostly associated with
Co. Wexford and Co. Cork.
