Friends Those people that you go to when you need to borrow money. The people that you blame when you get in trouble by a teacher. The people that you make fun of behind their backs. The people that you throw rocks at when you're bored. Oh, wait. Nevermind . . . those are people who you don't like. Anyway, here's a few of my friends (and you thought I didn't have any!) AKA a shout out page. (I'd put more people on here but I really don't feel like it, so maybe some day) Chip H. | Julie | Shawna | Josh J. | Steffi | Elizebeth | Bethany | Rochelle | Katie B. | Tiffany | Courtenay | Sarah S. | Amy | Katie | Megan | Jason K. | Allie | Jillian | Brian |
Chip Hanna aka Chippo-Dippo- Chip is ine of my best buds. He's about my height and his hair's color has never been accuratly identified (although most would say it's orangish-red). We hang out and go wakeboarding together (when he invites me) and stuff. We've been best friends since the beginning of 7th grade, so that's 3 years now. He introduced me to church, which I now attend regularly. We go to Lynchwood Christian Church, where his dad is the minister. He plays the drums for church and is actually quite good. Well, that's about all I have to say about him. Julie Gray aka Jewels- We're tight now. Oh yes! Shawna Friesen aka Shawnabelle- We're tight once again, too. Josh Johnson- This guy is crazy! He's my Magic: the Gathering brother . . . well, anti-Magic that is. He's the life of all the church activities, always making jokes, saying stupid (funny) things, nice to everyone (when he's not making fun of them), and has the best and most hilarious ideas for the talent shows ("I will now jump into this pit of wild animals just to see how scratched up and hurt I can get. Don't try this at home"). He towers over me at 6'3" (I think) and he also lives in Salem, but we talk on-line a lot about women, life, women, music, and women. He's a 4.0 student (unless he's lying to me) and is hoping to achieve valedictorian. He is madly obbsessed with a certain female Eugene resident, who, in my opinion, is an awesome person, but he is also obssessed with Star Wars, which, in my opinion, is an awesome bunch of movies. He also plays football and is like a guard or something. He earns money by playing songs on his guitar with his best friend Pat for local passer-byers at local stores and rest stops.
Steffi Turner-
| Elizabeth Lamb aka Liz- She's cool and the object of Josh's idoltry, but unfortunatly she doesn't share the same feelings for him. More later when I get to know her better. Bethany Waggoner aka Beth- One from the crew down in Eugene, but she's special because her name is Bethany. Don't ask why that makes her special, it just does. ANYWAY, I just recently started talking to her again through e-mails (great way to keep in touch). I've known her ever since camp (which was August '98) I think, but I didn't really become friends with her until Regional Assembly (which was sometime in the spring of '99). Then after that we didn't talk at all until I found out her e-mail address and we've been talking since then. She's best friends with Elizabeth (see above). She's an awesome person (even though I've heard some things about her), but I think she's alright. She's really smart, and on top of that she's really pretty, so she's got it all worked out. She plays club volleyball and she's probably pretty good, I don't know really since I've never seen her play. At first she might come across as a goodie-goodie church girl, but Beth does have a kinky side.
Rochelle Ikeda-
|Katie Bryant- Katie is one of those girls that you meet only once in a lifetime. She is like an earthly goddess. She is like the epitome of the whole female gender. She's like a Jennifer Love Hewitt, just closer. She's smart, has a great, magnanimous personality, and she is very, incredibly attractive. And on top of all of that she has a great sense of humor and a pierced belly button. I am becoming really good friends with her and can't wait until I see her again, unfortunatly she lives in Albany. She is yet another one of the people I have met through church (thank you, Lord!). When I get my license, Albany is going to be one of my first stops, no doubt about it. || | |Tiffany Palaniuk- She's one of the most funny girls I've ever met. I have sucha blast hanging out with her. She's also got one of the coolest laughs I've ever heard, and anyone who knows her knows that she laughs A LOT. She's so open and friendly. When we went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory she went up to girls she didn't know and asked them for their numbers for my friend Geoff. Then at Fred Meyer's she'd go up to guys she didn't know and hug them, and if they didn't give her a hug back she'd follow them around the store. She has a weird obbsession with picking up on little boys, like 9 year old third grade boys. Although this obbsession seems to be a Eugene thing, since Elizabeth and Bethany share similar disorders. Tiffany's becoming one of my best friends, she's someone I can talk to anything about- serious or not.

Katie Toynbee-Hovis- Katie, now my ex-girlfriend, was my significant other for about the first half of my freshman year in high school. Those were good times, but now we're really good friends. We're tight like a, well, I won't use that anology here because I don't know who might be reading this. Anyway, she's an awesome person. She reminds me in a lot of ways of Tiffany Palaniuk in the way that they are both totally crazy and goofy, but are also really easy to talk to. Sometimes she'll start talking, and if you aren't her you'll have no idea what she's talking about because it's usually totally unintelligible and has to do with such things as elephants and made-up family members. Jason Kaady- Jason's one of my best friends. We're tight. He's Arabian or Lebanese or something like that, but he's still cool. When him and I get together, we are definitely the lady's men. No girls can resist our charm. He went with me to the Big Stink 4 this summer, as well as Brian Baker, and it was so fun. He came to our district in 7th grade from Southern California and he was sort of a geek that a lot of people picked on, but now he's matured and became friends with a lot of those people and now he's the one who makes fun of people and always tries to get into fights with people he doesn't know and could easily kick his ass.
