Sunday School Starter Package
This two hour workshop is a good beginning session for churches
ready to begin building a strong Sunday School program. Key areas
include:
Pick and Choose Workshop
This three hour workshop is a good choice for Sunday Schools that
already know their interests and directions. Select two or three of
the following topics for in-depth study:
Sunday School Evaluation
Does your Sunday School need a tune-up? Let us look under the
hood. We will visit your Sunday School and make a written evaluation
that considers issues from space and light to age structure and
literature. A sermon or presentation can also be given at the worship
service.
Cost is $150 plus travel and copying costs for materials. Due to
prior commitments at a local church, the number of Sunday morning
visitations during the year is limited. Please prepare to book in
advance. Other days of the week are more readily available.
Sunday School Evaluation and Workshop
Is your Sunday School needing a tuneup AND a specific workshop?
This option gets it all done in a day. We will visit your Sunday
School and make a written evaluation that considers issues from space
and light to age structure and literature. A sermon or presentation
can also be given at the worship service.
Cost is $250 plus travel and copying costs for materials. Due to
prior commitments at a local church, the number of Sunday morning
visitations during the year is limited. Please prepare to book in

Sunday School Campaign
Are you looking for a way to boost Sunday School attendance?
Consider a Sunday School Campaign. We will meet in advance with your
Sunday School planning committee to select and design an effective
Sunday School campaign for your church. In addition we will produce
all necessary graphics, flyers and promotional materials, etc., to
get your campaign off the ground. A complete package for a 4-6 week
emphasis will include growth ideas, teacher appreciation, theme,
etc., plus a followup meeting and evaluation.
Cost is approximately $300, depending on number of visits, amount
of material produced, etc.

Children's Programming
Package One: a complete year of children's programming ideas. One
workshop: $100 plus travel and copying costs for material.
Package Two: A complete year of children's programming, plus
consultant will return to help the children's committee calendar
these events. $200 plus travel and copying costs for material.
Package Three: Acolyte Training.
Consultant will train your acolytes or will train your acolyte
coordinator. $100 plus travel and copying costs for materials.
Package Four: The Most important Room in
the Church - Nursery Workshop. $100 plus
travel and copying costs for materials.
Package Five: Select one of the following special events.
Consultant will help in planning and training. $250 plus travel and
copying costs for materials.

Children and the Liturgical
Calendar: A workshop on how to use the liturgical calendar
with childen and families in church and home. A complete folder of
ideas will be presented for use by the local church as it ministers
to families using the seasons of the church year. $200 plus travel
and copying costs for materials.
Children and the Sacraments:
What is the meaning of baptism and
Holy Communion in the United Methodist tradition? We'll answer two
important questions: Why are children baptized as infants? Why are
children included in Communion? Some idea of how children participate
in these sacraments of our Church will be given. (This is a
denomination-specific workshop). $100 plus travel and copying costs
for materials.
It Takes a Congregation to Raise a
Child!: This workshop shows
practical ways a church can engage in intergenerational learning. A
model for putting several ideas for intergenerational events into
place will be shared. $100 plus travel and copying costs for
materials.
Faith and Families: How can families share faith with their children?
What can the church do to help families? Ideas on Bible readings,
prayer time, and devotional time will be presented along with
resources. (A workshop both for children and for youth) $100 plus
travel and copying costs for materials.
Youth
Programming
Package One: A complete year of youth
programming ideas. $100 plus travel and copying costs for
materials.
Package Two: A complete year of
youth programming, plus consultant will return to help the youth
committee calendar these events. $200 plus travel and copying costs
for material.
Special training for new youth directors is available on a
negotiated basis.
New Workshop for Youth!
Faith and Families: How can families share faith with their youth? What
can the church do to help families? Ideas on Bible readings, prayer
time, and devotional time will be presented along with resources. (A
workshop both for children and for youth) $100 plus travel and
copying costs for materials.
Leadership
Training
Leaders Package: Consultant will come to
your church and train your church leaders. $200 plus travel and
copying costs for materials.
Vision Package: Consultant will share with
church how to set up a long-range vision committee for future
planning. $200 plus travel and copying costs for materials.
Custom Designed Packages
Consultant will help church design any package of needs, in any
area (Sunday School, children, youth, leadership). Price to be
negotiated.
