Many of the scenarios loaded onto this page have been downloaded from public Panzer/Allied General pages and reposted here in a Macintosh/Windows compatible format. I would ask that if you download and find any of the scenarios enjoyable, you also take the time to send a short note to the scenario author and express your appreciation. All of the scenarios load on this site have been compressed using the Macintosh version of StuffIt. For those of you using a Windows PC, a PC version of PC UnStuff is provided. This utility will expand all of the materials loaded on this site, enabling Windows users to enjoy the scenarios and campaigns.
For all of us who need help in mastering the difficulties of war games (and life), a study of the ancient art of war as described by the Chinese general Sun Tzu may prove beneficial. This is a classic thesis which has been on the "Required Reading" list of both the military academies and the corporate elite. The document is available as both a Micro Soft Word Document (5.0) and as a Text Document. Either way, it's recommended reading.
There are a number of excellent campaign games which have been customized by various authors. Because of the size of these files I will not upload them on this site, however, I will mail a copy to anyone who makes a request. Please specify whether you need the file in the sit or zip format. Following is a chronology of World War I which I have compiled from my local library and from the Libray of Congress. As a person born in the west, but of eastern/balkan ancestry, I have a personnel interest in both the western and eastern aspects of this terrible conflict. I am, therefore, attempting to compile a chronology which is inclusive of all theaters of operations and details both the military and political aspects of the war. The chronology was last updated on 23 November 1999 and is available as a MicroSoft Word Document. Please write to me with any comments, additions and/or correction you may have for this document so that I may expand the scope and improve the fidelity of the historical record. I am specially interested in the Mesopotanian, Causasian, Africian and naval theaters of the war.
