MATERIALS: Size G hook; worsted weight yarn; metal spring barrette
DIRECTIONS:
Remove middle spring from barrette.
FINISHING:
Re-insert middle spring and fold sts down over the ends and sides of the barrette.
Row 1: Sc an odd number of sts around barrette (work over end of yarn).
Row 2: Ch 4, Trc in back loop of same sc, * ch 1, sk next sc, trc in next ch; repeat from * around to first sc, in first sc, trc in back loop, trc in both loops, trc in front loop, * ch 1, skip next sc, trc in next sc (opposite trc in front loop); repeat to last sc, in last sc trc in front loop, join with sl st in ch 4 of beg ch-4.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in same st as joining, sc in each trc and in each ch-1 sp around; join with sl st in first sc and finish off. Weave in ends.
