MATERIALS: Size G hook; 4 ply worsted weight yarn: red, white and pink; 35mm film cansister; moveable eyes; red pom pom (nose) and white pom pom (hat)

DIRECTIONS:
Note: This pattern forms a square that is crocheted from corner to corner.
FINISHING: Hide all loose threads. With right side of Row 20 facing you, fold Rows 13 and 14 (the last 2 white rows) over Row 9 and 10 (the last 2 pink rows). Note: 2-3 rows of pink should remain visible for face. This will form the white part of hat. Using yarn needle, sew together. Wrap around the film canister and tie together in the back at the bottom part of the hat (white part you just folded) and through the pink part that makes face. Glue on moveable eyes. Glue on small red pom pom for nose and larger white pom pom on top of hat. Hide any other loose threads. Add hanger if desired.
Ornament can be hung on tree or set on the edge of the shelf so that beard hangs down off the edge. You can put candy or a small treat inside the ornament if desired.
