Shell = 3dc in next ch or sp.
DIRECTIONS:
Rnd 1: Ch 22, (2 dc, ch 3, 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in 4th ch from hook, (sk next 2 chs, 3 dc in next ch) 5 times, skip next 2 chs, (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in end ch; working on opposite side of starting ch, skip next 2 chs, (3 dc in next ch, skip next 2 chs) 5 times, join with sl st in top of ch-3, fasten off. (16 shells)
Beg corner shell (beg c-shell) = (Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same ch sp.
Corner shell (c-shell) = (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch sp or in ch sp of next c-shell.
Rnd 2: Join with sl st in first ch-3 sp, beg c-shell, c-shell in next ch-3 sp, * (shell in sp between next 2 shells) 6 times*, c-shell in each of next 2 ch-3 sps; repeat between *, join, fasten off. (12 shells, 4 c-shells).
Repeat Rnd 2 for as many rounds as you want. Note: Each round made will add 4 shells.
