Learn to sail safely, quickly, without fuss and without getting your feet wet. Our Sailfish keelboats have never been known to capsize! Be taught professionally by a Royal Yachting Association Senior Instructor. Receive a sailing certificate that records your exact progress and enables you to charter or hire boats properly and safely. Spend as little as possible and a lot less than you would elsewhere!
Sailing tuition for complete beginners in the sheltered waters of Swansea Bay for as little as £50 per day. Gain confidence safely and quickly and after five days tuition, hire a family sail boat from our associated Keelboat Hire Sailing Club for £10 per day. All trainees sail with the re-assuring expertise of an experienced RYA Senior Sailing Instructor on board (not an instructor or trainee instructor as with other sailing schools).

Mumbles Sailing School is owned and run by Vance Broad, B.A., A.T.C. , RYA Senior Instructor (Cowes 1982) whose services as a freelance sailing instructor/consultant, advising on buying a boat, sailing your own boat safer/faster/better, running sailing courses/regattas/races or delivering a yacht, may be engaged for a fee of £150 per day all year round. During courses, sailing suits, life-jackets and sailing manuals are supplied by Mumbles Sailing School. All trainees are asked to provide their own deck shoes (light soled trainers will do), jeans, sweaters, a hat, gloves and a small bottle of drinking water.
