A Collection of Christian Inspirational Poetry
Greetings! My name is Sandy Johnson. I am from the Pacific Northwest,Washington State to be exact. I am a housewife, a homeschool mom and work at a local hospital in the area.
I have always had a dream to make a difference in the world. I imagined myself as a missionary in some foreign country. I wanted to share Jesus and the difference he has made in my life with others, so He could make a difference in theirs as well. I would look up to preachers, and those I perceived as leaving their mark, and pray for God to show me His will in my life as well. It has occured to me within the last few years, that I already was making a difference. This can be best described by clicking onto the candle below by the title, Making a difference. I've been a poet for many years, but within the last year, the Lord has put a simple message on my heart, reminding me of His word in Matt:11-28-30. GOD'S VOICE IN THE SIMPLE THINGS
So many things that we do each day;
Helps us understand God's plan in a better way.
He shows us His providence and actions towards man.
In simplicity, He shows us the works of His hand.
It's in the way we may just clean our house.
He shows us a deeper truth, which makes us arouse;
To what He wants us alone to know.
That is the way all Christians grow.
And circumstances we always find ourselves in;
He shows us a bigger picture in the world of men.
It's all so simple, so easy to see;
That's the way God intended it to be.
We need not degrees in science or math;
We need not walk perfectly down life's path.
We need only listen to God's parables in life.
That was the message of Jesus before being crucified.
He took many examples of the life that we live;
To teach us much deeper truths is what He would give.
And it encouraged and touched those who stood close by;
It's the same today in each of our lives.
Oh look at the things that you do every day;
Listen for God to show you Himself when you pray.
Regardless of how simple it may seem to you;
Listen, God's voice will eventually come, and you'll know that it's true.
