Welcome to the 15th Forth Valley Scout Group
Pages
The 15th are located in Grangemouth which is in Stirlingshire in central
Scotland. The scout group was founded in 1909, just two years after scouting
began and has been going strong in the town ever since. The present scout
hall was built in 1923 using four disused railway carriages as the outer
walls with a roof and walls constructed over these to form the ideal scout
hall with ready made Patrol rooms and storage areas. The tent store is a
baggage waggon laid across one end of the hall, the double door on either
side of this can be opened up to provide easy access to our grass tent pitching
area to the rear of the hall.
The group today is involved in scouting events at district, area, national
and international level. This year we have representatives at the International
Jamborette in Blair Atholl and at the World Jamboree in Chile.
