Favourite Jazz Venues, Clubs, Restarants:
- Top 100 Bay Area's Restaurants 2001, San Francisco Chronicle.
- Bargain Bites, San Francisco Chronicle.
- Cafe Fino, Palo Alto. Live jazz most evenings. Close Sundays.
- Coriya Hot Pot City, San Francisco. On Clement a.k.a. "Little Chinatown". Cheap, fun, all-you-can-eat & and cook-you-own-food. Difficult street parking.
- Equinox, San Francisco, Downtown. Rotating rooftop view of Bay Bridge and Ferry Station. Great for coffee and dessert after shows.
- Fook Yuen, Millbrae, Good "dim-sum". Often crowded and difficult parking!
- Fuki Sushi, Palo Alto. Great sushi. Stanford area tradition.
- Hayes Street Grill, San Francisco, Civic Centre. Grill seafood. Recommended by a friend for PRE-show dinning.
- Hong Kong Flower Lounge, Palo Alto. Good Cantonese food and "Dim-Sum" to order.
- House of Prime Rib, San Francisco. My favourite MEAT place! Valet or street parking.
- Jardiniere, San Francisco, Civic Centre. Expensive, but top-notched food, ambience, and service. Perfect for light supper after operas and concerts.
- Kimball's East, Emeryville
- Ming's, Palo Alto. Good Cantonese "dim-sum" at lunch.
- The Plush Room, York Hotel, San Francisco
- Palo Alto Joe's, Palo Alto. Nice continental cuisines and service, easy parking.
- Villa Montalvo, Saratoga
- Yoshi's Jazz House and Japanese Restaurant, Oakland. THE BEST!
