This is my '94 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1LE. The first clue to spotting a 1LE is the lack of fog lights on a Z28.

The 1LE package includes:
Bigger 32mm front / 21mm rear sway bars, harder bushings, specific shocks with stiffer valving, stiffer springs - 360lb front / 130-180lb variable rear, and engine oil cooler. The 1LE package could only be ordered without air conditioning, power windows, fog lights or T-tops. In 1994 there were only 135 Z28's built with the 1LE option. Chevy started building them in 1988 for the SCCA showroom stock racing class and the option was not widely known about, hence there were not a lot of them built.

My Z28 1LE came with the 5.7 LT1 275 hp. (stock) engine, Borg Warner T56 manual 6spd. 3.42 limited slip, Goodyear GS-C 245/50/16 tires and 4 wheel antilock brakes.

My current modifications include:
K&N FIPK, SLP two on the left (stainless steel) catback exhaust, Hurst shifter, 1LE aluminum driveshaft, bypassed throttle body (coolant), 160 degree thermostat, manual fan switch, disabled CAGS, Mobile 1 synthetics, Performance Friction Carbon Metalic disc pads (front & rear), Firestone Firehawk SZ50's 255/50/16 (for the street) and Kumho V700 racing tires (for the track).

Best 1/4 mile to date:
13.993 @ 100.211 mph

Future modifications include:
SLP Y-pipe, 1.6 roller rockers, larger throttle body, 4.10 gears, ignition upgrade (MSD) and maybe a roll bar so I can compete in SCCA Solo1.
