The Twenty-Ninth Aethyr

November 2, 1999.
Upon entering the Aethyr I am hit with the vision.
A crowd revels and delights in an old, decaying city. The crowd screams as the ground shakes, and a new city comes up through the ground, upending & replacing the old.
A naked woman rises on a pillar, proclaiming that we are suject to her.
I approach, still with the sword Yllaja presented me. I throw it at Babalon, to slay her, and see simultaneously the two possible outcomes -- slaying her, and not slaying her.
She grabs the sword by the blade and hurls it at me. She then reveals herself as Solatu.
"You are Babalon," she says to me, "and what Yllaja gave you was a sword to slay you. I, Solatu, who love and would never harm you, thrust it into you."
And she did, she thrust the sword into my bowels.
A second city came up out of the ground then, and another woman arose on a pillar. This was Anatu.
"I have come to destroy you, Courtesan," she announced to Solatu, who vanished.
Anatu approached me, and said, "I, Anatu, who would slay you, save you with a kiss."
And she kissed my cheek, restoring me to health.
