Castle Ruins

Here is a photo of the ruins of "The Castle of Schoenecken".
It was in the family around the 1700's. No information is available as to which Irsfeld it was who married into the family that once owned the castle. Notice the fenced-in yards close to the buildings. The road through the town runs in front of the buildings.

My apologies for the poor picture quality. I'm just learning how to use my scanner and sometimes the photo's aren't coming out as well as I'd hoped.
