• If you are swimming in a pool, be sure to wash (or at least thoroughly rinse) hair as soon as possible after. And -- be sure to use a good clarifying shampoo occasionally to remove chlorine build-up. A build up of chlorine in the hair will turn blonde hair green and coat the hair making it unruly, dull, and difficult to style.
• At the beach, or poolside, leave a conditioner in your hair while you sunbathe.
