In the mid 1800s, the name was changed to Tiblow, after long time area resident Henry Tiblow of the Delaware nation. Several of his descendants, including Charles and Barbara TIBLOW, Dwayne and Janice TIBLOW, Ed and Judy (TIBLOW) DATY [all of Skiatook, OK], Lloyd and Betty (TIBLOW) GEORGE of Tulsa, OK, and Mack and Charlene McCAWLEY of Broken Arrow OK, attended the 1998 Centenniel for Bonner Springs. Old store across K7 later occupied by Good Will Industries. 5/31/1: Kansas Speedway opened. North of I-70 (110 Street exit); west of 435 (State Avenue exit) 4/27/1: Kansas once again rejected video gaming at the Woodlands as a way to increase state revenue. Mar 10, 1907: Ruth was born to Mary Ann (Howard) and Dennis Oree King in Bonner Springs KS1924: Ruth married Pastor Arthur Bolton. They had 14 children in 72 years of marriage. 1998 Bonner Centennial: Honored as the oldest resident locally born Mar 13, 2003: Ruth died, aged 96 |
