Telegames announces that they do not own the rights to Brett Hull Hockey or Black Ice/White Noise.
-From a post at Jaguar Interactive.

JV Games announces that they will continue to support the Jaguar as long as Telegames will publish, they would like to produce.

I was having a chat over an e-mail with Nolan Bushnell and what he told me was startling. My question to him was about if he was going to buy Atari or not. Here's what he said. "There is a natural synergy between the corperation and the consumer, first you introduce the game in the coin-op version, then six-months later in the home. I was in the bidding for Atari Games, and even though I had the higher bid for the company they gave it to my competitor. Without the coin-op division the Atari name becomes signifigantly of less value. (Seems like they bury thier dead quickly)." In a following e-mail he told me to watch his new company he was working on called "PlayNet".... You can visit PlayNet's website by clicking here PlayNet.

I currently have all of the Aps reminiscing pages up check them out by clicking here.

A Jaguar World Special

Do People Trust Mags Too Much?

How many game mags are there today? Six, maybe seven. How many support the Jaguar? In the past two months, the only good any magazine has had to speak of the Jaguar, were a few curt reviews by Tips N' Tricks.

People are too trusting with these magazines. When asking around my school about Atari, I got responses such as "Oh ya, Space Invaders", or "I remember playing pac-man." Almost no one knew of the Jaguar.

When I started talking about the Jag, I got responses like "I never see it in the magazines." or from one Nintendo enthusiast, "Atari is dead (He takes out his GamePro) Where are it's new games, and where are the reviews for them?"

I'm sitting there laughing at him, because as we all know, GamePro hates the Jaguar. For all we know they got payed off by Nintendo to stop covering the Jaguar. I calmly explained to him that he was wrong by pulling out my copy of Tips N' Tricks, with the reviews in it. To say the least he was stunned. His response was "Maybe if other mags said somthing about the new games less people would think Atari was totally dead."

The magazines are no-longer credable for Atari. They don't even want to aknowledge Atari for more than "The beginning." We as a group must hit at the heart of the gaming industry. We must make them realize that the only way that the Jag will die is if we give up on it. I'm shure that the 27,000 ++++ people that bought thier Jaguar's from Tiger Direct in the past few months aren't going to give up on thier new system that easily, and for that matter neither are we.

We will stand up as a group and declare, we will not disappear, we will not be bought out by curruption, we will not be doubted, and we will not be scared off by Tyrrany. We will stand together and declare that Atari will live on, that it must live on. The Jag will not be dead unitl we are. No magazine has the power to declare that a company, let alone a system is dead over 100,000+ voices.

The APS has been formed for this cause. So now we can stand up as a group, no one can tell us what to believe anymore. (Not that they could before.) Join the APS today.
