The finding of the RMS Titanic has proven alot of theories wrong. One mainly being that the Ship did not break in haft. Most of the passengers testified that the did not break in half. But when ballard located the wreck in 1985 that was proven wrong.

There also has been many deep-dives to the wreck of the Titanic. One being the RMS Titanic INC. They Own the salvage rights to the ship. They have salvaged thousands of artifacts from the debris field and have gone further into the wreck of the Titanic. Among some items salvaged is a huge piece of the hull and a gangway metal door from the D-deck portside.

Also just this past week people have gotten the chance to actually go down to the ship Using Mir1 and Mir2. The trip cost over 32,000 Dollars.
