Comments

............ The music from Victoria Wyndham's 25th (it had me laughing and crying) -- 2

............. the music from NY scenes was awesome!! -- 2

( 10/24/98 )
................ "Frozen" by Madonna as end of ep. montage; Something to believe in by Linda Eder in the VW 25th anniv. show with the clips of VW/CK together.

( 4/26/98 )
................ I like the music that they play on the show but it must not be too memorable for me because I can't think of anything right now.

................. AW used to have wonderful music - selections which were not only appropriate and tasteful, but brought the viewers a smile (as though we were being included). The selections lately have been overpowering, extremely ODD and not at all appropriate for the tale. Music should complement the story, not overpower it.

( 3/7/98 )
............. The "97 music was excellent. It stinks now.

( 3/2/98 )
......... I find the current music to be distracting and in no way enhances the drama. I find quite the contrary to be true: it is too loud and competes with the acting.

......... I liked some of the Sade stuff they have played, but overall I'm not that focused on the music.

.............. the music that they played for Vicky and Jake when they first made love and the night of their wedding - it was all wonderful

............. It's all so wonderful but I really loved the music for both of Jake and Vicky's lovemaking scenes

............. If I remember correctly, they used to use quite a bit of Mannheim Steamroller. I haven't heard any for a long time on the show. Why not get creative and use some really passionate classical music like the third movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

..............The country music Shane and Vicky listened to.

............. The Lyle Lovett (was that the entire CD I heard?) and company - good choice!

........... Use of La Boheme during the 1993-1994 Carl and Rachel ROMANCE!!

........... Jake and Vicky's wedding music

........... Memorable music is anytime it overshadows the actors voices. Which is often

............. Whenever I hear "On Golden Pond" I picture Rachel reading Mac's final words for her

......... All of it! The musical director is absolutely brilliant!

......... I think that if there is ONE THING that the show does not need improving on, it is the musical direction. I think that those in charge of this are the absolute best at this of any soap I have ever watched!

.......... There are so many choices here, I can't pick just one. The music direction on this show is aboslutely wonderful.

.......... I like the music in general, I can't pick just one music moment.

........... I, too, think that the music on this show is fantastic! Always well put together.

.......... All the music on AW is great.

......... Sorry - I am basically oblivious to the music! I focus on the acting, camera angles, believability, etc.

......... All of it. The background music is great as well.

.......... I think all the music is great.

.......... All of it - someone is doing a really good job on this.

.......... Love when you use contemporary pop songs at the end of an episode along with a montage of characters doing/thinking something interrelated---especially Elton John's song about "Kings and Vagabonds" from The Lion King.

............. I love all the theme songs for different couples

.............. More modern music - I've heard Eric Clapton, Sarah McLaughlin and some great blues. I like tunes I recognize. Keep it diverse.

............... The selection of Once Upon a Dream when Ryan died was very sad and very appropriate. Because of that song, I never forgot those scenes.

.............. The tender instrumental piano music is my favorite; I like to see popular music used in the right context (Sarah McLaughlin songs, for instance)

............. Anything with Jake and Vicky's touchy-feely moments

............. The music when Gary & Josie first got together
.

............. Any music used during Ryan-Vicky scenes.

............... The music that played during Jake and Vicky's love scene. It was very fitting.

............... Every bit of it. The show has a gem of a music director.

................ There are so many choices here, I can't pick just one. The music direction on this show is aboslutely wonderful.

............... I was particularly fond of the music selected for the John and Felicia scenes, but also memorable would be the Sarah McLaughlin song they played when Gabe died.
