............ Get rid of Lumina; this storyline is messing everyone on the show up.
........... Right now, I think the writing is good. Maybe interact different characters a little more with each other, and don't split up Jake and Vicky so often!

........... Continue to remember the past histories of the characters. (It's great how she included Jake's past behavior towards Marley. It seemed as if it had been forgotten that he was once a bad boy!)

.............. Good going so far. If Carl has to go for awhile, let it be from an llness. Try a coma. Allows for Rachel to grieve but realize he may never come out of it and have to move on romantically, falls in love and then Carl recovers. Besides, Carl loves his children, I can't imagine him leaving them after losing 2 children already.
................ Continue the Embers in the Snow story. Bring Matt's father Mitch back to ground him in reality. More McKinnons, and I can't wait to see Marly's return.
................ Go back to character=based family drama. Discontinue overuse of love triangles. Have a happy couple.
................ The writing has been excellent of late...but with horrible gaps...such as...WHY didn't we see any flash-backs of Michael???? I felt cheated, robbed...and thoght Kale Browne deserved a better farewell...it's fine that the character was killed off...IF it really played into future storylines...but it felt like an afterthought to me. Oh... Michael was in another car and is dead at the bottom of a ravine. No chance for his death scene....no final goodbyes...no memories. CHEATED!!!!! Mr.Culliton should just use his knowledge of the show and play upon the history while moving forward with the current storylines already in progress.

........... The writing is sometimes good and sometimes bad.
............ Continue to give each character realistic and heartfelt story lines. When an "over the top" story is needed, do it tastefully as with Jordan Stark. Let us feel for the villains and let us root them on as much as for the heroes.
........... Get rid of DOOLish story lines... Be careful of history / family lines.
......... Whoever thought about the Jordan Stark plot is ridiculous. I do not know if the show is canceled or not. I just found out is was in danger. Realistic stories are always much better than 'out of the realm' plots.I quit watching Days of Or Lives because of this. You (NBC) killed Santa Barbara which was my second favorite soap. You killed Texas. I will not even begin to watch Sunset Beach because of this. Another World is my last soap. It goes, and that is the end of it for me. Best Storylines: Vicky and Jake.. Lila and Cass .. Grant and Cindy. Worst Story Lines: Jordan Stark, .. Josie and Gary, (Like the characters, resolve the plot quickly)
........... For the casual watcher, we all realize that the storyline must extend itself past daily developments. That's "OK" Why I ask, does everybody take a daily dose of "STUPID PILLS"? Smart castmembers revert back to the prehistoric times and wait for the viewers to throw stuff at their TV! Are Vicky and Jake really that dumb? Are they going to change their name to dumb and dumber? Same thing with the Carlino family. Both Sofia and Joe take "STUPID PILLS"! Move the storyline along and allow the cast to demonstrate a moderate sense of everyday rational thinking! PLEASE! We the fans will remain true but you must respect our intelligence and dignity.

............ Bring back Carl and lighten up on Jake and Vicky. It would be neat for Vicky to get pregnant by Jake.
................ Bring back the favorite characters. Sure it will seem unrealistic but who cares. The fans understand the mistakes that has happened previously. Get back to the family storylines and the fan's favorite actors!
............... Not sure if Culliton is the guy whose been making all the changes the last year or not. If he is, HE should be fired! I don't like the idea of bringing another actress in to play Marley and can't see that the character will enhance the show. If Jensen Buchanan can't handle the dual role, then don't have Marley on the show at all. And I think Buchanan is the worst in playing Marley; she is not believable. Personally, I like some "dark" storylines, but not the Nikos one or Carl being suspected of being "evil." Come up with some new mystery; don't keep regurgitating the same old stories. I like the comedy between Grant and Cindy. I like the story about Paulina's addiction; however, they've never really had her in any intense therapy. A romance for a new Amanda would be fine. Bringing back Jamie to support Rachel and maybe cause Vicky some trouble would be interesting. I liked the pairing of Donna and Cass; think Felicia and Cass will be boring.

............... I have been a fan for years. I remember watching with my mom when I was in grade school. Ive been so disheartened over the current story lines. Matt was always a nice guy but now I can't stand to watch his scenes. I thought Paulina was the strongest woman but the writers make her look like a wimp. The story lines are so predictable it is no longer an edge of seat ending each day. What they need is a return to family, romance [true romance not just sex} Victoria Wyndham has been my favorite since the Steve Frame days back in the 70's. Jensen Buchanan is a terrific actress too. I say GET NEW writers or bring back the ones that made AW so great in the 80's. Thanks for letting me state my opinion.
.............. I hope that RC has enough sense to take four seconds and get out of the trench that MM dug himself. The identities of the characters were lost, the history was changed dramatically completely ignored 95% of the time. The scene changes were out of order, the timeline was completely lost (NEWSFLASH - Lassiter is in another state, not down by the hospital!!), and at times the show was just generally hard to follow (or hard to watch: ie. Josie practically jumping out of that window).
.............. I think they need writers who don't believe that the viewers are stupid three year-olds who don't know better.
.............. I hope RC corrects Malone's course.
............... I hope RC will tend toward more character-driven storylines, and stop bringing on new characters that have no ties to the current Bay City families.
............... Well, Culliton could not do any WORSE than what Malone pulled. But I am hoping for some better stories for my favorite characters, and I hope that they get back to the basics with them. Continuity is important, history would certainly help and I think along with the humor he is showing, there needs to be some more romance!
