............. I am greatly saddened at the demise of my favorite soap "Another World". I have not decided if I will continue to watch Days of Our Lives or not. It cannot compare with another world. I am also going to take a quick look at As The World Turns. I have been watching AW since 1965 and will feel a big empty whole in my live because of its cancellation. I hope somehow it can be revived. Mary Lou (SUPERSECY@worldnet.att.net)
............. please bring back another world, i like watching it when i can. it isn't going be the same without another world. i had watched another world for a long time. i hope they can come back, its the way they make me laugh and cry. your friend, deborah clark
............. I think it is so dumb that they are taking one of the best shows of the air. I really hope that someone loses tons of money because of this!!! They should really look at the shows they have and think again what one thay should take off like Sunset Beach that is the dumbest show i have ever seen and Passions is gonna be just like it and i will never watch passions and i know i speak for alot of other people to!!!!! kms_23@hotmail.com
............. I already miss Another World. I can't believe that last Friday was the last show. BelindaB9@excite.com
............. I have watched Another World since the late 60's and I can't believe they cancelled such an excellent show. Was it because it didn't have the same amount of sex as the rest of the soaps. I for one enjoyed AW for its sensitivies and great characters. The final episode brought tears to my eyes and like most of the mail I have read on this issue, it won't be the same coming home from a hard day at work and not having AW on tape to forget the "real world". You will truly be missed and my best wishes and thanks to the actors and actresses who made my evenings just a little bit brighter. maconrod@netcom.ca
............. since friday, i've been watching my tape of the last show and it still gets to me. the show was my second family and now it has died. I will truly miss AW and wish them the best of luck in life. Hope they know their fans are
............. I am totally lost at 2pm. I have been a faithful nbc fan since I was 10years old . Thanks to my aunt and grandmother who used to watch 2 tv's when they changed times in the late 70's . Then deciding to stay with another world , I soon became a fan myself . Another World was the best for me because of the funny scenes and real storylines . I can't believe it's gone . I WILL NOT watch sunset Beach or Passions , and I found myself not even turning the tv on for DAYS . I think I might switch to ATWT if Jenson & Tom (Jake & Vicky ) decide to stay there . That is my opinion and I am very very upset with NBC . I taped the last episodes as I did the episodes when Ryan was a ghost . I will watch them again , I know I will. (HShe886022@aol.com)
............. I have been a lifelong fan of AW. The characters have become family. I have laughed, cried, loved, hated, learned, and been taught by the last 19 years of episodes. AW will be truly missed in my house. I am hoping another network will be smart enough to pick AW up. NBC and P&G will pay for dropping the longest running and most real soap. Thanks for the memories. Kcabot@compuserve.com
............. I'm most bummed that I was unable to watch the final week- and am having a hard time finding out how things wrapped up... so I'll don't have a sense of resolve at all. Like always wondering where a long lost friend has disappeared too. Mvmt4life@aol.com
............. June 29, 1999....I am still doing what I can to fight for our favorite soap...Another World. I am still in shock that it is gone. We need Another World back...I grew up with this show and I have watched for all of my 27 years (yeah even as a baby Mom had me in the room with her while she watched her favorite soap). I was so looking forward to sharing this mother-daughter tradition with my daughter. She started learning the names of all the characters a couple months ago and now they are gone. Our tradition is gone...I, like so many others, have quit watching ANYTHING on NBC, in fact, I took NBC off my program of channels on my TV. I am disgusted and appalled to know that the opinion of 12-19 year old children means more to NBC than my faithful viewing for over 27 years!! We have supported this network for so long and this is the thanks we get...Well, no thank-you NBC!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see that peacock roasting in the fires!!!! Lori, Wisconsin, llljdl@netnet.net
............. I just want to say that I'm very sorry to see that show cancelled and that all the caracters will live in my memory forever. (nathalie.rousseau2@sympatico.ca)
............. My mother is 50 years old and has watched Another World since the day it first aired. I am 19 years old and have been watching it virtually since the day i was born, I don't remember much before 1986-but y'all get the idea. Most soaps these days have very unreal stories and plots. I believe the only outragous story line AW has had was the whole Jordan Stark/ David Halliday thing, however it was still enjoyable. I agree with many people in hoping another network will pick up AW. I believe it would be nice to have a prime time special on the lives and times of the citizens of Bay City and mayber their favorite clips and bloopers, now wouldn't that be fun? All of the characters and families became friends, we've laughed and we've cried some for a short time others for all 35 years. I must say i have enjoyed every episode. The characters have also had so many twists and turns and have had to deal with many social issues, at some point I believe I have hated and loved every character. It is amazing how many lives this soap has touched, and it will be greatly missed by a precious following of loyal fans. I don't look forward to the new one-"Passions", but for the sake that it might last I will try to watch it. It will never be Another World-nothing will ever take its place. I was also disturbed to find out that Sunset Beach has been giving six months to pull us its ratings, it is a good soap and needs viewers, so for all you soap fans- give it a chance, it might grow on you as it did me. Thanks. kristen
............. How deplorable this is....I do agree a boycott is needed to support these wonderful artists. I will encourage family and friends to terminate all viewing of programs of NBC whether local or national as well as avoiding products produced by P&G. And to the those who gave us joy ... continue blessing and happiness on a new journey...you each and every one deserve the best. Ashley Morgan
............. I would just like to say that I am deeply saddened by the cancellation of Another World. I still can hardly believe it is over. It is the Tuesday after the last show and I still feel excited to go home and watch the show even but when I get there and my vcr kicks on and Another World isn't there it saddenes me and I could just sit and cry. I would just like to say that I will miss all of the characters and wish them all well in their future adventures. And if there is any hope in bringing back AW please let me know and I'll do what I can to help. jbooks@moisd.k12.mi.us
............. I think it is a shame Another World was cancelled. It was an excellent show. I am going to miss it a lot. Too bad another station did not pick it up. Sdthomas@aol.com
............. Well, yesterday was the first day with no ANOTHER WORLD in 30 something years. AW was the best of soaps. I have been a loyal fan for many years, and my 3 daughters along with me. There will be NO Passions for us. If "Passions" is going to be like Sunset Beach, then it is time to follow Jake and Vicki to another network. Shame on you NBC for not thinking of your older fans. I think you have pushed us aside for the young ones. Well, it did not work in our family. In fact if Days goes in the same direction, we are GONE. I did like the way you tied up the story lines. I wish all the cast the very best. I will miss them all. SROSEN26@aol.com
............. I have watched Another World on and off since its very beginning and am appalled at the decision to cancel. I've listened to the ratings and watched the awards and could not understand why so low. This was the only soap offering diversification. It didn't go on and on and on and on without any finality to storylines like Days does over and over and over again. Days is the same story with the same people. Boring! Boring! Boring! Yet, Days is always getting the awards and recognition. Why is that? I believe NBC had every intention of cancelling this show for a very long time and that is why the ratings. Why else? Everyone I talk to who watched AW enjoyed it immensely. It had character! It was sad! It was funny! It had humor!! Now there's a NOVEL idea for a Soap. The storylines were for the most part realistic. The actors and actresses were excellent. I will not watch either of the others and will move on to a new network. If there is justice in this country, the audience speaks out and should be heard. BRING ANOTHER WORLD BACK !!!!! THANK YOU CAST of ANOTHER WORLD. Each and every one of you gave me a relaxing hour every day after work. I will miss you all. JML - Feeling exceptionally betrayed. (johannal@enainc.com)
............. I'm not surprised to find that Another World has been cancelled. In checking out daytime TV it is obvious that quality is not what people want. I have watched Another World for over 25 years. I will not be switching to another soap. There is no other which has the quality and in-depth characterization of Another World. Good By Another World; and, to its actors, good luck.meboss@ix.netcom.com
............. I will certainly miss Another World. I have watched it for years and felt like I was a part of the story. If there is a chance it could come back, please see that it does. How can we say goodbye to such good friends for so long. It helped many a lonely person spend an hour with actors they loved and hated. I will never forget the hours I sat and enjoyed it. Why must we change? marygayler@aol.com
............. Hi, well i'm very very disappointed that NBC as cancelled Another World. I'm 23 now and i have been watching it since i've been 4. I enjoyed this soap i cried, i laughed. Me and my mom will truly miss this show because this was a show that we watched together. Another World was very good and we will miss it. I hope another network will pick this soap to air again . With these great actors in it. June 25 was a very sad day. I will no longer watch NBC for their daytime shows. Another world was a soap that we got to know the characters well and when something happen we cried with them and we laughed with them. All the fans out there will miss this soap. Thank you to all the cast you shared their time with us. It meant alot to us. Thank you. Jen M. Sudbury, Ontario. Canada (jenstev@rocketmail.com)
............. Like many of you I started watching Another World with my mother 30 years ago. It was depressing to come home from work today, knowing I didn't have my VCR set to tape it. I feel as though I've lost the one thing I truly enjoyed after working all day. My husband and son both know that when I was watching Another World, no matter what time it was, it was my, "lunch hour." I have traditionally watched alot of NBC but have since reconsidered. Its as though they ignored all the letters we know they received appealing for them to keep Another World on. Thank you, cast and crew for many happy viewing years. JDJDTBS @ AOL.COM
............. My name is Jana, and I am 18 years old. I grew up with ANOTHER WORLD, from watching it with my Mommom to taping it every day while I was in High School. When Sunset first came out, I was like, cool, a new soap, I watch four already, what's one more?? Well, I watched, and in no way, shape, or form,
............. I really feel like there was a death in my family. The thought of going home from work today with no AW to watch is very depressing. I will follow Jake, Vicky, Cass and Lila to Oakdale, but I will miss the rich history of AW, as well as Joe, Paulina, Carl, Rachel, Felicia and the rest. I have watched this show for 35 years - I will not be consoled !!! I have seriously cut back on my NBC viewing - I have switched from "TODAY" to "GMA" - and I will not watch NBC except for 3 shows (down from about 12). I WILL NOT WATCH PASSIONS. I hope the show flops and is off the air in a year. It would serve those NBC programming execs right for turning their backs on our demo group. Hey - morons - we're the ones with the disposable income - not the 18 year olds !!! Goodbye, Another World. For all the joy, love, and excellence in daytime television, I thank you with all my heart. I will never forget any of you. PRobertson@laerdal.com
............. To say that I'm upset that NBC canceled AW is putting it quite lightly. I'm furious. It was a rare occasion that AW was ever given a plug during commercials. I'm also furious with the various soap opera periodical people. They rarely mentioned AW too. The story lines were far more believable, the characters more believable, and the actors and actresses were so good! I plan to boycott NBC, P&G and GE as well. Like another fan of AW said, now I'm going to have a lot more hours in the week now that I'll no longer watch Regis & Kathi Lee, Roseanne, Days, Oprah, etc. Kathy (Kbagee1959@aol.com)
............. I have to admit that I wasn't able to watch AW as faithfully as I would have liked to the last year or so, but I loved popping back in once in a while to see all of my favorites. I can remember watching it with my grandmother when she was still alive, and I guess you could say I continued the tradition. I only caught a few of the last scenes finale due to a family emergency! I need a copy of the episode. HELP!! So long to all the wonderful people who gave so much to the show & it's viewers, you will truly be missed. And thank you for including those who had been lost too early from our Another World family, a VERY classy move! tp34nolan@aol
............. TAKING OFF ANOTHER WORLD WAS A TERRIBLE MISTAKE BECAUSE OF THIS NBC WILL LOSE A LOT OF VIEWERS. ANOTHER WORLD HAS BEEN ON NBC TO LONG TO JUST END THE SHOW. I'VE WATCHED THIS SHOW FOR YEARS AND NOW I'M UNABLE TO BECAUSE OF NBC. I HOPE ANOTHER NETWORK IS SMART ENOUGH TO BRING ANOTHER WORLD AND ALL OF IT'S CAST TO THEIR NETWORK TO KEEP THE YEARS OF ANOTHER WORLD GROWING WITH ALL OF THEIR FANS. HOPEFULLY WILL SEE YOU SOON ANOTHER WORLD EVEN IF IT'S ON ANOTHER NETWORK. SINCERLY, A TRUE FAN (DENISE STARCHER, LOVE42199@aol.com)
............. No Passions exist in my World: There has been a tragic death in the World--a death that seemed utterly unfathomable. Millions of friends are now mourning the loss and have been left with feelings of bewilderment, heartbreak, and disgust. This meaningless death has arrived for the residents of Bay City, Illinois, and those of us left behind must somehow attempt to pick up the broken pieces and adjust to life without Another World. As an avid viewer of AW since 1986, I must say that NBC's decision to ax the 35-year old soap has had an effect that is equivalent to suddenly losing a dear old friend. AW has, at times, proven to be one of the absolute best daytime serials on the airwaves. The time-honored drama has portrayed dozens of bold and heroic characters that have been a pure joy to love, as well as a myriad of dastardly villainous souls that have been equally as fun to despise. I do understand that the show's ratings have been declining for some time. Even with its lower ratings though, AW has succeeded in maintaining an extremely solid and outspoken fan base. I realize that many fans had become outraged with the direction the show had taken in recent years. And admittedly, several unwise storyline decisions were made and many popular characters were written off. At times I too had become disgruntled, but I refused to believe that the show was unsalvageable. When Chris Goutman arrived as executive producer last year, I felt that AW had gotten exactly what it needed--a guiding hand that could lead the soap into the next decade by focusing on the show's rich history and capitalizing on the enormous talent in the cast of actors. With Goutman at the helm, AW had the potential to again produce the passionate, Emmy worthy stories with the unique edge and flair that were once characteristic of the great drama. But evidently it was not meant to be, at least not in NBC's opinion. But I believe that NBC bears much of the responsibility in causing AW's demise. The network seemingly has been trying to rid itself of the show for some time and has been arduously attempting to undermine the audience loyalty. In the last 4-5 years NBC has virtually neglected AW in the PR department. Days and even Sunset Beach (a lower rated soap) seem to get the majority of the promo advertising from the network. NBC is utterly foolish to believe that AW viewers are simply going to forget about the show on June 25, then warmly embrace Passions without a second thought on July 5. I personally had been eagerly anticipating the premiere of the new daytime baby conceived by James Reilly, the mastermind behind several of the great mid-90's storylines on Days of Our Lives. But now I have no intentions of watching Passions. NBC has lost this daytime viewer for good, and has surely alienated at least a few million other loyal AW fans as well. I only hope that another network will be brave enough to step up and seize the opportunity to add this classic gem to its daytime lineup. (Adam Murphy, Spurlington Ch. Rd., Campbellsville, KY 42718 (502) 564-7364 )
............. First off, I don't believe P&G should suffer because of NBC's stupid mistake. P&G attempted to sell the show to ABC, but the plans fell through. It was a network decision, just as it's my decision to not watch NBC daytime any longer. My mother watched it from day one, so AW has always been a part of my life. I became a fan myself in the Eighties. I am saddened by the senseless cancellation and to all the fans out there, we have to move on. Goodbye Bay City, hello Oakdale. wingtip@aloha.net
............. The days of my life won't be the same without AW, the guiding light of the Cory family will be no more. All (of) my children will not get a chance to see the bold and beautiful Vicky have her twins, and the young and restless Matt find true love. As the world turns whether we like it or not, so we must get used to life without Another World to escape to. I have watched AW since early 70s, like so many others, I do not know what I will do when I get home from work and no AW on tape to watch. Passions looks like Sunset Beach, no 'family' storyline, no viewer here. May all of the talented AW actors find a show that will appreciate them as we all do. Thanks for the AW site, it will be missed! pippn@hocking.net
............. Cast and Crew of Another World/ I have watched Another World since my middle child now 29 was a newborn. The twins at that time were not even thought of then, but they watched also as the grew up. I run the Browns Millpond Campground here in Bishop,CA. and the ladies that come to camp in here kept me up to date for the first six months I was here as we did not have access to TV. Now we have a satellite, and If I couldn't get you at one time I could make it an hour later but I never missed. Want you to know we are all family, even though we have never met we were all there. Nan Curtis/Camphost/Browns Millpond Campground/Bishop,CA
............. I have been watching Another World for almost 32 years. I will miss seeing so many of the characters who have become "friends" over the years. I wish all of the cast members much luck in the future and thank them for so many years of enjoyment that they have given me. gails@internetwis.com
............. i have been watching another world since i was 4 years old. i have been watching it ever since. i will be last without it. no other soap will take it's place. i watch all my children, it is just not the same. because all my children is on just before another world.i did not think that the ending of the show was necessary. if they were going to end the show, they should have had like 2 or a 3 hour show.. i am hoping that another network will produce the show and put it back on the air. it would make alot of poeple happy. yours truly, shelley roode.
............. I am so upset with NBC for taking off Another World. It was easily the best soap on television today. I am absolutly disgusted that they would rather keep Sunset Beach. That show is the poorest excuse for a soap I have ever seen and they have now lost another viewer. I feel like I have just lost my best friend. I have yet to find another soap or any television show for that matter that touched my heart the way this one did. It made me laugh and cry and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I can't imagine my life without them in it. I feel NBC has made a fatal mistake, I only wish we could reverse it.....Amanda
............. I have been watching ANOTHER WORLD for 22 years. Even though people tell me "its just a show"-it has become part of my life. I used to come home from grade school and watch it with my mother and sister. I am saddened that NBC thinks nothing of cancelling the show in favour of a teeny-bopper soap. ANOTHER WORLD had such a rich history and the characters were so realistic. I will miss Rachel and the Corys the most! I always looked forward to their storylines. Justin from Canada.
............. I have been watching AW for 30 years, I started watching with my Mom when I was 5 years old. I grew up with these characters I can remember when Rachel got pregnant and try to pass the baby off as Russ Matthews. I have laughed and cried with this show for so long I can't believe it's over. I mean when they really died Wallingford, Mac, Ada I felt like I lost a real friend. I also used to watch Days and back when Bo and Hope were a supercouple and I boycotted them when they let her marry Mr Welch. I will now boycott NBC soaps forever. I'll be watching ATWT, I just hope they let Tom and Jensen characters enteract because they are the best when they are together. So long AW you will be missed but remembered forever. piedpatty@aol.com
............. I've watched "Another World" since 1963. My girlfriends and I use to take turns skipping school just to catch up on the storylines. It's the only soap I have watched over the years and I feel as if NBC has taken family away from me. NBC said it is pulling it to attract younger viewers with "Passions". I won't watch it and I will purposely not buy products anymore from Procter and Gamble. Is this what NBC is trying to do, well they got their wish. zascar@clarkston.com (Marcia Spradlin)
............. I just watched the last show of "Another World". It was really sad for me to think I won't see it again. I started watching it in the break room where I used to work and I've been watching it now for over 15 years. It seems kind of silly, but these people became like family to me. I would record it during the day and it was the only show I would always find time to watch each night. I won't be watching "Passions" or any other soap! Plrbeach
............. i am appalled at the cancellation of AW..i have watched this show since it's beginning with my mother..even though i was young at the time i still was hooked and so was she..if i could not see a show she would tell me what happened..over the years i have watched--and whenever i didn't watch for awhile i came back and got hooked again until i started taping the shows so i could watch them in the evening when out of 72 cable channels there is still nothing on..i watched the last episode last night and cried..it was bittersweet..i have tried other soaps but none compare..i still watch Days but it is getting boring..I WILL NOT WATCH PASSIONS--IT LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER SUNSET BEACH WITH TEENY BOPPERS..baby boomers rule--we grew up with AW..i only hope another network will pick up and run with it..to the cast THANK YOU--YOU HAVE ALL BEEN GREAT AND WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL BACK WITHOUT P & G AND NBC. yorkie@ix.netcom.com
............. I am writing to show my sadness with the end of Another World. I have enjoyed this show very much, the characters and storylines, and the actors who were so talented will be missed by I am sure everyone in British Columbia, Canada. I trust NBC knew the mistake they were doing by cancelling such an entertaining and enjoyable Soap Opera that spanned 35 excellent years. The characters were just like family members always warming our hearts with interesting story lines, what a travesty. I pray that they will reconsider and bring back OUR soap opera. bak@Uniserve.com
............. Today was Black Friday. I have watched Another World since Day One. Tonight I watched old tapes I recorded when Mac Passed away. I feel I losk part of my family. Because if things were going wrong with your life I could turn on the show and find something to laugh about. I will not watch the new show because of what I saw and heard. It is smutt. Doesn't NBC know the audience is getting older not younger and we will be spending the money. I will be watching the two old soaps with my favorite actors in it. I don't need to watch the smut they are offering. Georgia Gorton
............. Todays segment of AW was wild. What a way to go out. I can only hope that the producers of AW will change their minds and bring AW back. libertybelle@texoma.net
............. I'm in mourning as though a member of my own family had died. These people and the characters they played have become such an intimate part of my life. Everyday I knew there was an hour that I could come home from work - rewind my VCR and sit back to be entertained - to laugh, to cry, to learn. I don't know what I'm going to do on Monday. I just watched the last show and so appreciated the way they scripted in their farewells and Jake's impromptu good-bye to Vicki. I'm still crying as I write this. I can't believe they are all gone. I've watched over the years as it has taken more and more of back seat to other Soaps and I've never understood. I've tried watching others and none of them have reached me. My interest was not maintained and they never became a part of my life. This is just wrong on the part of the network. rita@lightspeed.bc.ca
............. Today is 6-25-99. Today was the last day of AW, and I am very disappointed. I have been watching AW since 1982, when I was only 12 years old. I didn't think that it should end. I have always watched AW, and DOOL. I think that if they had to bring another soap on, they should have canceled SB. I guess the way that it ended was ok, but I'd rather have seen it be a 2 hour episode, with lots of pictures from the past years. I will truly miss AW, and I will not watch Passions. sdamatthews@Bledsoe.Net
............. I have watched AW since its first epidode when I was a junior in high school and am annoyed at NBC for cancelling a soap opera in order to replace it with Another Soap. Bad enough that the 35-year-old soap would be cancelled at all... Because of the time slot, I also watch (or should I say watched) Days of our Lives. No more. NBC soaps are a thing of the past for me. I'm heading on over to Another Network. Perhaps Another World will be picked up in syndication and I can relive my teenage years with the Matthews family (and it was nice seeing Sam Groom as the minister in the final episode.) Best wishes to all the out-of-work actors who deserve better. xnr8@aol.com
............. I think AW should be picked up by another broadcast that can truly support them properly. The lack of effort put out by NBC towards saving AW was terriable. It has caused me to really examine NBC in itself. I will miss watching AW, yet I won't stop hoping they'll return. I've had 13 great years of watching them, and I wish all of the AW crew good fortune for their futures. Missy of Hope BC
............. I was raised hearing 'AW', and I continued to faithfully watch it for 13 yrs. I find it to be disloyal to the AW crew and their viewers to end the soap only to air another one two weeks later. What happened to supporting the ones who supported you. NBC is way out to left field, and I hope they clue into the mistake they have made. As for all the actors and filming crew, I wish the best for them all. You've given me many years of excillent TV. Thank you As for all us viewers, lets keep reminding NBC why a company like theirs can go under. (holgate69@uniserve.com)
............. It is June 25, I am at work and am hoping my vcr worked this afternoon. I happened to watch an episode of Another World when I was a junior in high school in 1968 -- I have watched ever since. I can't explain how much the cancellation of this tv program has affected me. Even though I just watch it in the evening on tape, it was sometimes the highlight of my day. What a sad thing it is no more! I hope the actors and actresses know how much we will miss them! Laurie (blasfam@aol.com)
............. To End an Era: How can you end a lifetime of so many actors and actresses that have touched our lives? This is truly one of the greatest shows on television!! We love the show, and I myself have been watching it since it started 35 years ago. Nancy Heilman (Bearlady2@webtv.net)
............. hi, I've been only watching Another World for about a year but I have come to love it. I wish that they weren't taking it off the air but who actually says that we cannot do anything about it. If you send me your e-mails I will make up a petition that you can send to all of your friends and then maybe the producers of Another World will see that the soap is still meant to be on and how many fans there are out there. stacy_123456789@hotmail.com
............. Well today is June 25th, has anyone at NBC or Proctor & Gamble wised up?Apparently not since the cancellation of AW took effect today. I just hope that another network will kindly pick this soap up, they would have nothing to lose but everything to gain.Millions of viewers for starters.I just don't understand taking a 35 year soap off the air to put another on. I will never watch Passions nor will I view NBC any longer. You have lost me forever.connielemus@earthlink.net Thanks Another World for 35 glorious years. You will be missed.
............. Like everyone else I am very disappointed and have decided not to watch any NBC soaps in the future. I have watched Days of Our Lives besides Another World but no more! I agree with Rachel that NBC has done everything they could in the past ten years to sabotage the series. It is hard enough losing the show and all those actors and crew people being out of work now, but then NBC has the gall to run ads for their new Passions during the Another World show. My heart goes out to all of the actors on this wonderful soap and I wish them all the very best of everything. shirley.dion@equitable.com
............. Since NBC executives keep talking about their "daypart"... I am going to sit back, relax now that I no longer have Another World to watch and watch NBC's Daypart, Fall Apart!! Kelly Brion,Law Library Assistant, Washington, D.C. (spunkyva@earthlink.net)
............. I've been watching Another World since I was very
............. I have never been so heartbroken as when I heard the STUPID decision to cancel one of the best soaps on TV!! I feel they're making a BIG mistake, and I dearly hope it costs the network millions of $$$s and TONS of viewers!! Attached is my opinion survey. If it doesn't all go through, please e-mail me and let me know. A reply from you would be great. Thanks for the means to spout off about this. LCorley@mail.doe.state.la.us
p.s. if i had the money I'd bring them back on but you don't have it or will. good bye
behind them 100%. coconut22@videotron.ca
............. I have watched AW since I was a little girl, I will miss it! I had the biggest crush on Tom Eplin as a teen and still think he's a cutie. I loved his carefree, rebel character, but I also loved the family man he was becoming with Vicky. All your fans will miss you AW!! AmberBR1@aol.com
could it ever compare to our WORLD. As teens, we are just looking for a little direction in our lives, and some guidence. Something a bunch of pretty faces with tans just don't give us. NBC is wants to attract the teen demographic with this new show, well, our reaction to the situation, WE THINK IT SUCKS! Every teen that I know is fighting like mad to save the WORLD. We want Another World every bit as much as everyone else. D10lives@aol.com
............. I have come to your site looking for other people that have felt they lost some friends today. This is the first Monday in 15 years (since I have owned a VCR) that there will be no taping at 2:00-3:00 P.M. for Another World. I wish I could express to the group of actors about how well they conveyed their characters to the viewers. I watched this show longer than any other show in history and I will get used to a week without Another World but it will be missed! A heartfelt thanks to each member of the cast and crew. I hope you find something bigger and better. This is great for my husband---no more soap operas! :>( (bananne81@aol.com)
