I am a West Point Colonel's daughter so I grew up all over the US. My first memories are of The Arctic Circle in Alaska before it was even a state.  I loved watching the northern lights  while I was all wrapped up in a camel hair army blanket on the front porch.

My military family has never really had roots anywhere other than Tioga County, Pennsylvania (Wellsboro, the city by the Grand Canyon of Pa) and Aunt Marg's farm just outside Staunton, Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

When I was 18 and living in Alexandria, Virginia, I joined the First Virginia Regiment of the Continental Line, a battle reenactment group formed in 1975 to celebrate the Bicentennial.  I was at first an advance guard scout for Culpeper's Scouts under Captain DA Saguto.  I had my own CVA repro PA longrifle and complete outfit, which Al gave me.  Later I played the part of a female indentured servant to the officer's mess and field surgeon and apothecary.  I have very fond memories of the First Virga Regt.

I am disabled with damage from a pneumonia that almost killed me when I was 15. I had anorexically induced double mycoplasma pneumonia. I was in critical for quite awhile and I wasn't supposed to live. I had a death experience one night and woke up the next day with no more fever and wanting to eat after weeks of fevers as high as 106. I ended up with 60% scar tissue on my lungs and a condition called bronchiectasis, which is what people with cystic fibrosis have in their lungs.

I have three kids who are 27, 24, and 20.
The 27 year old is Owen.  He runs a branch of the Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kung Fu school that is based in Iowa City.  He has his own school  in Detroit right now. Owen  is involved in the local vampire game up there.  He is a great conversationalist and philosopher.

Em is 24.  She is expecting by Christmas 2004! Her boyfriend, Hart, manages the coolest coffeeshop in Iowa City.  She is a great artist and a very philosophical person, like Owen. Em writes incredible poetry also.
Ely is 20. He is the bass player for "Winegarden".  He has been playing bass for about five years.  Ely is going to college for a degree in video, public relations, television etc.  He is a very intelligent, deep thinking person.

.
I have a degree in a combination of art and wellness from the UIowa 91. I have a local public access yoga show. I have been teaching yoga for 25 years now.  I teach classes locally when there is enough interest. The thing about my yoga classes is that I teach it as a lifestyle, not just a physical hatha yoga class.....It is the most comprehensive form of fitness, nutrition and stress management I have ever studied.

I had to sell my beloved 76 ironhead just a few months ago. I am working on a heinz 57....65 pan frame and blown up 78 shovel stroker!!!!  I may also pilot a top gas dragbike next summer!. I started out riding on the back of Harleys in Virginia-DC area when I was in 10th grade. I knew I was a biker from the very start, not just a motorcyclist My first event was the National Anti-helmet laws demonstration in DC in 74.

. I got my first sporty when I was 27 in Seattle in 83 and I have been riding my own ever since. I bought the 76  for $1200 in 1991 and had the Reapers rebuild it for me. It was sitting beside a crack addict's trailer for three years totally open to the weather and it was orange with rust and totally froze up. It is very tight now and has a real punch

I have been active in Abate of Washington, Abate of California, The Modified Motorcycle Association of Southern California (where I served as editor of their newsletter under Richard M. Lester, attorney for motorcyclists), Abate of Kansas, and Abate of Iowa (where I served as security and last year I was secretary for district 5). I am now a supporting business for Abate of Iowa District 5 with my photography, video, and PR company called Shewolf Productions.

I was crew and public relations officer for the fastest modified Harley in the US in 97. The best elapsed time was 9.50 and the best mph was 135.  For more info on the bike, go to www.rapidracing.com.
I am a professional photographer. I have done PR for rock and roll bands for over 20 years and I still am available to do any kind of PR for something I am interested in.

I am now an ordained minister and a dedicated biker.  I have worked with bikers, street people, and the forgotten and forsaken off and on since 73 when I was hanging out with the street people on the streets of Georgetown in Washington, D.C.  I love doing this kind of work and I plan on helping these people for the rest of my life.  I don't charge anything for what I do, which is anything from transporting and resourcing to medical care.  I am glad that now I am a minister so that I can work with and advocate for these people and bikers for free.  This is a dream come true.

I am clean and sober. If you would like to be or know someone who might be able to use this information, click on clean and sober on my main page to go to a list of recovery sites and chatrooms, etc.

I go to Alanon just to learn to work on my own self-development. You don't need to have a partner or family member who is a substance abuser to go. It helps anyone learn healthy boundaries and self-development. Do you believe you came from a very screwed up family? Do you wonder why you act defensive in relationships or feel lonely all the time no matter what? If you answer yes to any of these questions, chances are you could benefit from alanon or adult children of alcoholics (ACOA), or CODA (codependents anonymous). Go to my clean and sober site for tests and answers to your questions. There is a way out of addiction, abuse, pain, and loneliness.

I have a business doing crafts and leatherwork. I do really nice dream-catchers at this point. I hope to learn to do leather for art and motorcycles soon. I like to hand-stitch authentic historically accurate clothing too ( I used to be in the First Virginia Regiment 18th Century battle re-enactment group during the Bicentennial).

I love the Allman Bros probably more than any other band because they made me who I am today. I went to the Grateful Dead-Allman Bros concert at the RFK Stadium in DC in 73. It was my first concert.

I just saw the Allman Bros again (8-04-98) and I am still driven by their beautiful message of peace and the fact that they are hard-core bikers at the same time.

I decided then that I was a biker-hippie. I have been that ever since. Oh, and the movie "Easyrider" was also instrumental in my choice of lifestyle.

I am a Rainbow Family member. The last actual Gathering I went to was Minnesota and then the Illinois regional the next year. I am in touch with the brothers and sisters in the local area. If you would like more info on who we are, try this site.
