"The Wang" is a glimpse into the future of "Only Chaos" and the rest of the "On-Campus Crusader" series. The above graphic is the first page of a 2001 DCAF Award Winning 7 page short story that is slated to appear in the Pablo's Comic Extravaganza and Potlatch 2001: Book to Benefit the CBLDF (Comic Book Legal Defense Fund) anthology books, both in November 2001 from Squid Works. Potlatch 2001 is being solicited to Diamond, so please order this book from your favorite comic store to help us ensure higher sales -- the CBLDF would be grateful. This particular story is an excerpt from what I expect to be the 6th or 7th issue of this series. As you can see, our hero, Eugene Wang, has bulked down, but he maintains his trademark hairdo and dysfunctional relationships. He leaves behind his superhero persona, as he graduates from college and enters the REAL world. Enter the cynical world of sales and the stock market, but keep a hold of your funny bone and sensibilities! Stay tuned for additional updates and sneak peeks. As of this writing, I have completed writing the first three stories in the series and am almost done with the fourth. Wish me luck, as I plan to solicit this as a mini-series or series to publishers within the next couple of years.
