Oregon 州 Portland を本拠地とする動態保存機 Spokane, Portland & Seattle 700 (4-8-4, 1938年 Baldwin）が2001年4月、1956年の現役引退以来はじめてSpokane まで乗り入れる本線エクスカージョンを行いました。これは全米のファンが注目する大イベントとなり、筆者も渡米、沿線で追いかけ撮影をしました。ここに、その全撮影地点でのショットをお目にかけます。容量の関係で写真サイズ・画質を下げている点をご了承下さい。

DAY 4, April 23
Pasco 〜 Vancouver 間、そして回送で Portland までの運転を予定していたが、Pasco 構内でツール・カーと電源車が脱線したため、運転中止となった。
Planned excursion to Vancouver (plus ferry move to Portland) was cancelled due to minor derailment of the tool car and the power car at Pasco.
