One Too Many Margaritas?
My working methodology usually goes like this:

A song begins with a part. The part grows and tells us how to proceed. It combines with other parts, both chronologically and through accompaniment. It grows rhythmically and harmonically, and gains in complexity as it grows. Eventually, it hits or misses the intended concept. Whether the goal is met is not always important, because of the pure joy of exploring musical space.

Sometimes a musical part leads me in a different direction than I had foreseen. This piece is a perfect example.

The sounds in this piece are a combination of acoustic guitar and synthesized orchestral instruments, including  strings, horns, acoustic bass, and drums.
