WELCOME
We, of Studebaker, are pleased to welcome you as our guest on this trip through our South Bend plants.
We earnestly hope that you will enjoy your visit with us, and that it will give you some conception of the care and accuracy employed in the mass production of Studebaker products.
For your convenience and enlightenment we have placed explanatory signs at strategic locations along the route to give you factual and pertinent data on some of the more interesting operations. In addition, where factory noise does not interfere, your guide will be glad to supply you with more detailed facts. May we also suggest the use of this booklet as still another source of information.
For your own safety, please stay close to your guide . . keep away from the machines and equipment . . . and walk only in the established aisles.
