Who Had These Comments: I too am descended from an early Gardner -- Sarah Gardner, eldest daughter of Thomas Gardner, the overseer of the first Cape Ann Plantation, and Margaret Fryer Gardner. She was born in 1631 and married Benjamin Balch in about 1650. They had 11 children. I have a lot of information on the Balch Families and have some on Thomas Gardner. I know that he came from England in 1634 on the Mary and John. I would be willing to share what I have with you. My research is fully footnoted. Carol Fellows Casa Grande, Arizona

Who Had These Comments: Thank you for inviting me to visit your beautiful "garden," Sue. I wish I could return the favor by inviting you to come visit my "real" Fancypatch Herb Garden, here in Linden, CA. ---We share the names John French & ___Parker in our ancestry but the dates aren't right so I have to assume they are different people. Too bad. Do you have Pope's "Pioneers of Massachusetts" as a resource? I have a copy & I'd be glad to do look ups & send you what I find. There's quite a bit for Holbrook, Foster, & Brown, but I'd need first names,,,,also dates, spouse, etc., if you have those,

He lived in England but the three brothers imigrated to the US on or about 1795 and settled in Vermont. The names you have sound familiar but none seem to be from Vermont. Any ideas how I can track the England connection Steve

Who Had These Comments: I was just surfing around and found this site, trying to research the Adam's surname. I'm stuck at William Adams b: abt. 1770. I think they lived in KY. area. He married Fanny or Frances Mitchell b:abt. 1780. I found another researcher on the genforum who had her as Frances Meachum. We haven't figured out which it is yet. They had a daughter named Frances Adams b: 1818 in Scott Co. KY. She married James Minix b:1810. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If so give me an e-mail. Thanks, Tammy Here's my e-mail thenline@jps.net

Who Had These Comments: I think your web-site is excellent. I am a descendant of Richard Warren through my great-grandmother, Sarah Baker, who I believe lived in Swansea Massachusetts. My family dates back to Captain Michael Pierce who came to America in 1640. I believe Captain Pierce was killed in a fight with Indians in Rehoboth, MA during King Phillip's War (I believe that is the name for the war between the Colonists and Indians in the seventeenth century). I enjoyed your site and some related sites very much

Who Had These Comments: Hi Sue...Tom and I enjoyed meeting you at Sandy's last night. Your Xmas theme for your page is really cute...alot of work! I am headed for an office party tonight, but if you e-mail me sometime, I'll outline my Mayflower roots for you! My problem is the elusive James COLLINS. Until I nail him down, i have no hope of proving my line. Right now the world gets in the way of my geneology fun...Xmas and no shopping done, for example! Take care...Debi

Who Had These Comments: My Gates line landed at Hingham, MA in 1634. Later on a Deborah Gates married Samuel Standish, a grandson of Miles Standish . That's about as close to becoming a Mayflower'er as I can get & I guess that doesn't count. Right? Anyway, I'm having fun tracking down all of my ancestors, who lived for the most part in Mass, Conn, & New York. I will check out your data, next. Have a Happy Holiday. Elmer

Who Had These Comments: I enjoyed your site immensely. Extremely well done, interesting, colorful and I don't have sound at this work station so I can't comment. Worcester County is the site of most of my research (I'm an amateur) with my direct lines emenating from Hubbardston, Princeton and Westminster. Surnames include Howard, Pond, Dobie, Wheeler, Lyon, Lanphear and Harrington. A quick look at your Wheeler and Harrington information didn't provide a direct connection but I'll be back at a later date to look more carefully. Keep up the great work. Geoff Howard
