Who Had These Comments: Elizabeth Pierce married Lt. Samuel Kendall in
Woburn, MA, in1707. However, one other source notes it may have been 1705.
Her parents were James Pierce (b. 7 may 1659-Woodburn Middlesex, Mass, died
20 Jan 1742, ) and Elizabeth Barker who is listed as being born before 1680
in Woodburn, Middlesex, Mass.) Elizabeth married Samuel (b. 19 Oct 1682 in
Woburn, Middlesex, Mass., died 13 Dec 1764, Woburn, Married 1705, Woburn.)
I have Elizabeth Pierce b. 11 Oct. 1688, Woburn, MA, died 10 Jan. 1741, Woburn,
Middlesex, Mass.) As you know, dates can vary, depending on the recorder.
I have a couple of verifications that match on these dates, that is why I
use them. But that is not infalible. Does she fit in your tree?

researching their old english and irish surnames.for those who are researching
the brewster surname, the village of wrentham in suffolk was for many centuries
the home of the brewster clan.I believe the brewsters of scroobie were a
breakaway group around 1350 AD.the earliest reference that i know of is to
philip brewster 1190 AD.the parish church of st.nicholas wrentham houses
the tombs of the family elders with their coates of arms.I hope this will
be of some help. very good website and i will visit you again soon.

Who Had These Comments: I have recently begun a search for family. My
ggrandmother was Kitturah Gardner Tharp. I have made a connection with the
Tharp line and we are holding a reunion in Septemer in Princeton, Ind. where
most of the family finally settled. Kitturah died in Pike County, Ind. She
was the mother of 13 children, my grandmother was one of her daughters. Have
you ever come across the name Kitturah in your search. Two people have given
us variations of the name as having seen it is some of their searchs, but
her tombstone reads Kitturah. We also have her family Bible which spells
her name Kitturah. I have not at this time been able to locate her parents
either. I have several people who are helping me search, so maybe soon. I
don't have a home page or web-site at this time. I enjoyed visiting your
site. Thanks in advance for any information you might pass on to me.

Who Had These Comments: I ended up at your website via an email from
Genealogy.com about a user survey. Started looking around and found you.
I'm our family researcher and I'm having to go back and redo some of it because
I lost info before entering the sources. I really like your site - impressive.
Someday I hope to create my own. In case you're interested, I'm a descendant
of Jonathan Gardner (John 1,2,3,4) and Sarah Gardner (John 1, Stephen 1,2,3).
They moved to Buckfield ME when he was awarded a Revolutionary War pension,
so we're out of the MA Gardners at that point. Buckfield ME has written its
own book "Buckfield, ME" by Cole and Whitman, 1915 p 589,590. All the children
are listed as being born in Buckfield. I found Jonathan's and Sarah's headstones
in the cemetery there. My line then follows Ansel Gardner b. Buckfield ME
5 Sep 1791, m. Anna Stevens of Gorham ME Huldah Gardner b. North Dixmont,
Me 28 Feb 1821, m. Edwin L. Smith of Waterville, ME Eva Gardner Smith b.
Waterville, ME 25 Jan 1847 m. Eugene Bogart Beck of New York City Charles
Cushing Beck b. San Francisco, CA 11 Nov 1899 m. Cora Lydia Swales of Kingston,
ONT Eugene Harwood Beck b. Oakland CA 4 Nov 1902 m. Mary Evelyn Smith of
Oakland CA Marigene Beck b. Oakland CA 25 Jan 1943 m. Richard Gall Allison
of Hanover PA Dina Noel Allison b. Washington, DC 2 Feb 1970 Stephen Clare

Who Had These Comments: Thank you so much for making this web site available.
I was excited to find some links to the Thomas Pierce from England, however,
the connection between Francis Steven Pierce b. Feb. 6,1806 and m. to Thirza
Smalley, to Gordon Pierce b. Aug. 31, 1773 didn't seem clear. Is Francis
Steven Pierce the son of Gordon Pierce.

Who Had These Comments: Sue, I read your information on the Yoston from
Scotland. I was just wondering if that is the correct spelling. My family
came from Germany. The last name was originally Josten. Once in America two
branches of our family split off one with Josten and one with Yosten. The
second settled in Nebraska and some went down to Texas. So I was just curious.
