Who Had These Comments: I grew up in Leominster - 1930 util 1948, when
I graduated from high school and left for Fisher Jr. College in Boston. Moved
to Michigan in 1954 and have been here ever since, except for a couple of
years in Ohio. It's been fun looking through the documents on these pages.
Thank you for a nice nostalgia trip!

Who Had These Comments: Not into geneology, just surfed on in from Google.
I come from Leominster in England and was lucky enough to visit your Leominster
in 1970 when I was a fresh faced youth of 17! Myself and a school friend
were lucky enough to win a Rotary International competition to come on a
5 week student exchange in July/August 1970! We stayed with different families.
I stayed with a lovely family Jack & Rita Galvin in Sterling Junction,
then David Carmoli, The Andersons, and someone at Woods hole on Cape Cod.
I have very pleasant recollections of US hospitality. Our Leominster is a
small sleepy market town with lots of old black and white mediaeval buildings
- very different to yours. For the geneological buffs amongst you Bill Clinton
was born Bill Blythe (my surname) and your geneological society have traced
him back to a graveyard in Mansfield UK and I can trace myself back to the
same graveyard! But do I want to be related to him?? If anyone wants to know
anything about Leominster UK contact me.
