Researching Gardner/Garnet and Pierce/Pers of Massachusetts
The seed of genealogy was planted in my growing
up years, as I was told that I descended from the Mayflower. About 20 years
ago, I decided to make that seed grow and started my genealogy garden. In
that time I have found many of my MASSACHUSETTS roots, including my 3 Mayflower
lines, BREWSTER, WARREN and SAMSON.
My search started with the GARDNER name, which is my
father's line. I was told that the GARDNER name was my direct link to the
Mayflower. I later learned that this was not true, but there is some
truth to those stories you are told by relatives, I did descend from the
Mayflower. Having planted many flowers in my GARDNER genealogy garden, my
search then went to my Mother's garden of PIERCE.
My goal for this page is to share what I have learned
in building my genealogy garden and that some of my flowers may help you
grow your genealogy garden.
