About the Editor: Dr. J.C. Waterhouse graduated from the University of California, Irvine, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with a bachelor's in Biology (much of it pre medical). Dr. Waterhouse received a Ph.D. in Systems Ecology with a minor in Statistics from U.T. Knoxville, did research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and published several papers in scientific journals before becoming ill with chronic fatigue and immune dysregulation syndrome (CFIDS or CFS), fibromyalgia and Lyme Disease, and has since spent nearly 20 years studying these and other illnesses.
