Tom's Dukes of Hazzard Page
We are planning a millennium party there, complete with Daisy Duke waitresses,
Big Screen TV to watch the Dukes, barbecue, beer and pop, merchandise,
a comedy act, General Lees running simulated car chases, tour of the orignial
"Hazzard County" and much more. If we get enough interest there is a good
chance a cast member and/or a band will
perform.
This is a once in a lifetime event and a wonderful opportunity for any
Dukes fan!
Price is reasonable, and can be obtained by contacting (don't forget
to
include this in your announcement on your sight) me at-

What do the Cast Members of the Dukes of Hazzard say about doing the show
"Its like putting on your old favorite pair of boots"....John
Schneider
"Its a little bizar in that aspect its like a time
warp"....Tom Wopat
"Its like a marriage that never really went bad"....Catherine
Bach
"Its like somebodys brother that went over and come
back from a battle"....James Best
I got this in a response to John Schneider. The rumors are strong at both CBS and Warner Brothers that the Dukes will fly again. Ratings on the "Reunion Show" exceeded their wildest expectations so Guy Waldron, the creator of the show, is back in front of his computer writing new material. I've heard that this time Bo and Luke will be doing some singing in the movie! That'll be fun!! Yeeeee Haaaaa! This time we'll have to find more than four General Lee's for the filming cause I bet it's gonna be real exciting!
By the way… the General Lee is a 1969 Dodge Charger RT with a 440 Magnum engine. We used about two a show for the series for a total of around 300 cars for the six year run! Wow!!! If you'd like to drop the president of CBS television a note of congratulations about the Dukes success, or a letter of encouragement about Doc Quinn, Collier & Co. or all three!, here is his address:
Leslie Moonvess President CBS Television 7800 Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles, CA. 90036By the way… Leslie is the man personally responsible at the network who believed that the Dukes could fly again so please let him know your appreciation. He’s a true champion of the cause of family entertainment!!!
Dukes of Hazzard Reunion can be ordered through Columbia House. YEE-HA!! The number to call is 1-800-566-5773. The movie is 9.95 and 3.59 plus you can order the whole series from 1979-1985. Some of the episodes are not included, but Columbia House did say that everyone who orders will get the Whole set!! For all of you big fans that liked the reunion movie James Best would like you all to send Warner Brothers and CBS notes or letters saying that you loved the Reunion so that CBS and WB and make more Reunion's in the near future or they may even start up a series. That would rock!! YEE-HAA!!!!

The
General Lee
- 1969 Dodge Charger
The undisputed star of the show, this car kicked
all ass known to man. It was painted bright hemi-orange, which of course
always helped when hiding from the police, and had a big old Confederate
flag on the roof. Actually, it was painted hemi-orange because that's the
only color Cooter
had in his garage! The number "01" was slapped across the doors, which
were both welded shut for easy entry via window. The Duke boys raced the
General Lee
in various dirt-track circuits, too. Anyway, the General Lee was jumped
across every known obstacle in Hazzard County, and it was said that the
car had to be replaced at least once every show due to the amount of damage
done... Oh, and don't forget, the General Lees horn played the first 11
notes of "Dixie", which sometimes made burning rubber or jumping obstacle
a bit more fun. The Duke boys found the General Lee after he was abandoned
after a bank robbery. They only paid 500 dollars. The bad guys got caught
for stealing gold dust and lost their getaway car in the process.
Lucas K. "Luke"
Duke - Tom Wopat
Luke
is the coolest of the two Duke cousins. Ex-Marine.
Unfortunately, Luke
didn't get to drive the General
Lee very much, but when he did, he ruled! Rosco
never had a chance when Luke
was driving. Always cool and collected, Luke
got the boys out of more trouble than he got them into. Luke
had the crazy perm, and always slid across the hood of the General
Lee, like when running to get in the car really fast. Tom
Wopat recently hosted TNN's Prime Time Country and now is on Cybill
playing one of her ex-husbands. Luke 's CB Handle: Lost Sheep.
Beaureguard "Bo" Duke - John Schneider
The young, irrational Duke cousin. An ex-stockcar-test-driver.
This guy always got all the hot babes, too. I think this is because his
"look" was in back then. The good thing about Bo
Duke -except for his cool name was that he was always willing to jump the
General Lee,
no matter how great the distance. He was always yelling when he did it,
too! That was pretty damn cool. If Luke
did that more, he would have been the big heartthrob. Now, John Schneider
is doing some great stuff. He's a co-founder of the Children's Miracle
Network and the head of Faith Works, Inc., which produces quality family
films. Bo 's
CB Handle: Lost Sheep.
Daisy Duke - Catherine Bach
Holy cow, Daisy
is the hottest chick. She absolutely revolutionized the fashion industry
with those "Daisy
Dukes" she always wore. She had the ultimate tan, though you never saw
her laying out or anything. She did wash her Jeep quite a bit, so that
could have been a source of the dark skin. Daisy
worked for Boss
Hogg, at a bar/restaurant called The Boar's Nest. She hated it, and
him, but money was tight over in Hazzard County. The reason why she works
for is Uncle Jesse
wanted a loan so the boys could get the General
Lee. Before Daisy
drove a 1972 Plymouth Roadrunner for about five minutes,
till the Duke boys drove it off a cliff, then she got that Jeep named "Dixie".
After the show ended it was hard for Daisy to get other shows to look at
her. Daisy legs were also valued for 1 Million dollars. Catherine
Bach did a show recently called "African Skies"... Sophia Isabella is Catherine's
First Child took her 5 years to have her. Laura Esmaralda Lopez
was born on 10/22/98 and weighed 7lbs. 1once and measured 19" long This
is Catherine's second child! Daisy's
CB Handle: Little Bo Peep or Country Cousin.
Jesse Duke, AKA "Uncle Jesse" Denver Pyle
The Uncle of Bo,
Luke and Daisy.
While getting on in years, Uncle Jesse
always looked out for all of the Duke clan. In fact, he held everyone together.
It sucked how the young'ns all drove cool cars, like the General
Lee, while Uncle Jesse,
who slaved over that darn farm all day and night, was stuck with that rusty
old pickup truck - a 1970s Ford F-Series. At least it had a gun rack, though,
since Jesse was
so much into shotguns. Actually, he did have this big black car called
the "Midnight Runner", which he used to run moonshine back in the day when
he was in the Old Time Ridge runner Association. He also drove "Black Tilly",
but that car was very rarely seen. He was happy in life, I guess, but I
suspect he'd have been much happier with a bright red '50 Ford with the
big block. Uncle Jesse
got to drive the General
Lee once in a blue moon, and you could tell he was lovin' it, even
though he could barely fit through the window. Oh, one more thing, Boss
Hogg and Uncle Jesse
knew each other from "the good ol' days", when they used to make booze
together... But then they turned into rivals. Denver Pyle 77, died December
25, 1997 after a year of lung cancer! : ( Jesse's CB Handle: Shepherd or
Uncle Shepherd.
Cooter Davenport Ben Jones
The town mechanic, and one of the coolest dudes
in Hazzard County. He could fix anything, and was always jolly and happy-go-lucky
when strangers broke down and had to get their cars fixed - something that
always took 3 or 4 days, so they would have to stay in town for the whole
episode. In the early days, Cooter
had a '76 Ford Torino which rocked, but by the end, he, too, was stuck
with a crappy old pickup truck... and a tow truck. He probably didn't mind,
considering the amount of moonshine he was drinking... Cooter
had the old whiskey still out in the woods, I believe. He also had a daughter
named Nancy Lou in the show. But before the Dukes started Ben Jones was
an acholic he would spend all of his money from his paychecks on liquor.
Now Ben Jones is a politician in Georgia. He just got womped by Newt Gingrich
in the last election, I understand. Ben can be seen in Primary Colors
which is a movie based about Bill Clinton. From time to time he is
on talk show. Cooter's
CB Handles: Sheepdog or Crazy Cooter.
Jefferson Davis Hogg, AKA "Boss Hogg" Sorrell Booke
The evil villain on this particular show. Boss's
main interests in life were food, food, money, and food, in that order.
In fact, this guy ate so much wings and stuff, he may have been the coolest
character on the show. Anyway, Boss
Hogg was the bigtime local business kingpin - actually, Boss
was the Hazzard County Commissioner - who had the police in his back pocket.
He always dressed in all white, and was always after the Dukes boys and
Uncle Jesse's
farm. He also drove this long, white car with longhorns on the front -
Limo One, a 1970 Cadillac Couple Deville - which was also pretty cool,
and could usually be found about 10 miles behind the daily car chase. Unfortunately,
Sorrell Booke died a couple of years ago, on February 11, 1994.
Rosco P. Coltrane James Best
The sheriff in town, and basically the world's
worst driver. While it was kind of implied that he deep-down liked the
Dukes, he was forced into the relentless, never-ending task of catching
them. Nobody ever told Rosco
that the General
Lee could outrun any car known to man, except maybe KITT, but that's
another story... James Best is a Juliard-trained Shakespearian actor. He
also hosts a fishing show on a local cable station in the Lexington County,
South Carolina, area now. The "P" stands for Pervis.
Enos Straitt Sonny Shroyer
The dumbling patrolman who took orders from Boss
Hogg and Rosco.
Enos was basically
a good guy at heart, though he, too, needed a few more driving lessons
under his belt. Enos
was probably the only guy in Hazzard County to openly admit that Daisy
gave him a woody. He even married her in the last episode, or something.
Deputy Cletus Hogg Rick Hurst
Replaced Enos
after he left... and then left when Enos
came back. Cletus was Boss
Hogg's third cousin twice-removed, but then again, who wasn't someone's
cousin in Hazzard County?? Rick Hurst also made Guest Appearance on Family
Matters as "The Drunk SANTA". Rick also appeared on W.W. and the Dixie
Dancekings with Burt Reynolds. The movie had a familiar sound DIXIE which
they played in there car.
Flash
Rosco's
old dog. This bassetthound could barely walk it was so old, but it did
get to go along on all the chases with the Dukes.
Lu Lu Hogg--- Peggy Rhea
Boss
Hogg's wife. Rosco's
sister. She also was friends with the Dukes and never ever liked what Boss
and Rosco did
to them. She even kicked out Boss
because of that and other little things.Yelled a lot. She recently played
Grace's ex-mother-in-law on the TV show "Grace Under Fire". She's also
made appearances on "Step By Step".
Sheriff Little of Chickasaw County
This guy was the sheriff of the neighboring county.
A big, bad, ass-kicking machine. He always hung out at the Hazzard/Chickasaw
border, waiting for ol' Rosco
to chase dem Duke boys his way. Though clearly the coolest guy on the other
side of the border, he had a few things to learn about the General
Lee . The Smokey Bear hat and reflective shades made for some mean
looks, though Sheriff Little never said much.
Other Characters
Coy and Vance Duke, who were Bo
and Luke wanna-be's
for a season.
Judd Duke, Luke's
brother.
Jeb Stuart Duke, motorcycle dude, played by Cristopher
Hensel.
Nancy Lou her father was Cooter.
Abraham Lincoln Hogg, J.D. Hogg's long lost twin
brother.
Hugh, Boss
Hogg's limo driver.
Sheriff Grady Byrd Dick Sargent, replaced Rosco
for an episode or two.
Sheriff Buster Moon, who replaced Rosco
for about 1.4 seconds.
Deputy Wilbur Fudge, who replaced Enos
for a while.
Hughie and Jamie Lee Hogg, Boss
Hogg's nephews.
Miz Tisdale, the Hazzard County Postmistress.
Maybell, the nosey Hazzard telephone operator,
Boss's neice.
B. B. Davenport, Cooter's
cousin who appeared once in a while.
Miss Hatchipee.
Portense Hogg.
Big Daddy, Boss
Hogg's dad.
