Macintosh Recap (MacRecap)

Introduction

If you have a Macintosh and want an easy to use program to recap duplicate bridge games in clubs, MacRecap is for you.

MacRecap will handle up to 19 tables, 38 boards and three strata. Howell, Mitchell and bump movements are provided for all the usual numbers of tables. There are also movements for a small number of boards for Bridge Plus+ games. You may, if you wish, create any other movement desired by using the companion Specify_A_Movement program. MacRecap will handle assigned scores and fouled boards. A board, however, may only be fouled once. There may be a missing pair at any position. (ACBLscore uses the words "Phantom pair" for missing pair)

If you are a playing director and there is a missing pair, you should arrange the last sit out for yourself so you can begin entering scores into the computer as soon as possible. The descriptions of the movements tell you where to sit and where to place the missing pair so you will have the last sit out.

There are four printouts: three of the whole game for posting and one for giving to the players. The latter consists of two or more pairs per page so you will want scissors to cut them apart.
