Wrecks Offshore NC

Offshore North Carolina offers tremendous diving all year round. Bottom temps in the high 70's are common in the Gulf Stream in the summer and vis often exceeds 50'.The wrecks are often covered with soft corals and plenty of tropical fish abound.

As with Virginia diving you will find the diving to be exclusively on offshore wrecks some sunk by nature, some by marine accident, some by action of war and some to form artificial reefs for marine life.
