The QC, in the last few months, seems to have come to a halt. The message boards have become suprisingly quiet and the mailing list is dead. It seems the group's unity has almost completely disappeared. So, this combined with the fact that there is no new seaQuest, has forced us to make some changes in the group as well as this page.

First of all, the group is not being disbanded. However, as nothing is or has been going on, we will not be accepting new members for an indefinete period of time. It seems unfair to bring someone into a group that doesn't do anything... really isn't a collective anymore, as it used to claim, and has nothing new to discuss.
Also, although the boards are still there and occasionally posted on, there will be no new group activities or projects for the same, indefinete period of time. Obviously the newsletter has been "cancelled", due to lack of interest and the chats had been underpopulated before their cancelment. Active interest in seaQuest has become sparse, and the group is trying to work its way around that while still being a group.

Though not what it used to be, the group and the page will still be here. The page itself is being changed... you'll note that the Member Bios as well as the Info Page have been removed, and the History page modified. Hopefully this will become more of a general seaQuest page and less of a club page, now that the club has less to offer. But our loved, yet overdiscussed show, will always live, and in the event that more interest occurs, the suspension of the QC will be lifted.

In the meantime, *more* changes are at hand. In the next few weeks look for a "new and improved" fanfiction archive and image gallery. A few other things may be in store, so be sure to stop back and check it out!
