Giving Something Back

There are many South Africans doing a lot of talking about how South Africa can be improved.  The truth is that little or nothing can be achieved by talking or signing petitions, we need to do something directly to make a tangible impact.  Here are some South African charities that are on the Web, a short list I realise, but all I could find so far.  Also remember that the charities you supported back home before are probably still there and a friend or family member back home could easily put you back in touch with them.  Many of these charities have suffered because of hard times and the fact than many donors have left the country.  I'm sure they will accept support in any currency.  Please let me know of any Web Sites out there that I have missed, maybe if we all give back a little we can make a difference.  Remember to check out any charity that you are interested in.  If you want to be thorough you can get their charity number and check up on them, something that is never a bad idea anyway.
