Liby Dies of Heart Attack

A brother of Lester Liby and Mrs. Edith Burroughs, both of Bluffton, and Mrs. Mary Donaghy of Ossian Route 2, Robert Liby, 59, of Colton, Calif., died at 8 a.m. (PST) Sunday [21 Feb 1982] at the Colton Hospital.

Death followed an unexpected heart attack.

Born in Wells County, he was a son of Jonas and Emma Norris Liby. His marriage was to Connie Clowser, who survives.

Mr. Liby was employed as a sign painter.

In addition to the wife, brother and two sisters here, he is survived by a son, Tim of San Bernadino, Calif.; two daughters, Sheila Mettica and Kathy, both of Colton, and another brother, Walter Liby of Muncie.

Funeral services are slated for 2 p.m. (PST) Wednesday at Colton Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Colton Cemetery.
