The Challengers of the Castle



These are all SEASON TWO adventuring teams.

*New Adventurers!*
Chris and team from Mersicide

One more a team who's introduction I have yet to see,
But champions, at least temporarily they would be.
When they descended the first well,
They came upon poor Folly as they fell.
But food he gave, a riddle as well,
After which he provided a useful spell.
They survived the mill wheel's churns,
Chris passed over a pit of worms.
Cedric was trapped in the web's snare,
Then Mogdred came to give them a scare.
Providing the miner with a spade,
Then dodged another game that Mogdred played.
He chased them with a giant hand,
But they made it down the well, faster then he planned.
Here they made the fatal offense,
By choosing wealth over defense.
While they passed the Wall of Jerhico,
Medusae's glare turned them all to stone.

Rating: 4 and a half stars... for making it as far as you probably could have in those days without making it.

Marc, Jonathan, Matthew, Daniel

Folly's challenge started the quest,
A choice of cards, that was easy to best.
They met Gretal, the kitchen maid,
But she was kidnapped by Mogdred, so rescue the quest became.
They announced themselves to Lilith,
Thus they passed without being dismissed.
They had to bribe the guard Gumboil,
Before dropping down in dungeon toils.
There, they befriended Cedric, the mad Monk,
Who, in turn, gave Gumboil a hard enough thunk.
Though Cedric fled from the spider,
Marc and team didn't stay long beside her.
After solving Merlin's rhyming,
They bribed Olaf, the Viking.
Then, after lighting up the level 2 well,
They made it down to level three for a spell.
They cheered a Gargoyle from it's tears,
And survived Mogdred's evil jeers.
Chased by Wights they journied deep,
Then a Dragon they put to sleep.
Outside the dungeon's bells,
They cast their final spell.
In doing so they beat the challenge there.
By freeing, the maiden fair.

Score: 5 Stars... a terrific job. Julian, Fawn, Becka, and Mary. (Starts episode end - 6).

While the beginning *I* did not view,
They were one of the winners from season two.
The talisman they saught from start to end.
A team on who we all could depend.
They solved Granitas without a miss.
They passed the bomb without a hiss.
Though they were confronted by a pair of eyes.
The automation could not bring their demise.
Even when on level two,
When distractuleese left them without a clue.
Merlin came and gave them, after a test, of course,
A jester who knew the means of discourse.
They had dodged the ghoul, then crossed a pit.
Where Folly taught them quite the trick.
They used it to pay Olaf's fee.
Then they were into level three.
The found a shield, and without a fall
Used it to pass Medusa's hall
The stained glass confused them not
Though with the dragon, it grew quite hot.
Then, despite Mogdred's dire threats.
The powered through to beat the quest.

Rating: 5 stars. A flawless performance.

Anthony, Alen, Mark, Daren.
(starts at the end -4)

Anthony and his men from Ash
Didn't do well against the dungeon's clash.
On level one, I do recall,
They almost were trapped in Igneous's maw.
While Folly's laughter was supposed to give them cheer,
All it did was bring disaster, here.
While they did pass the pit of worms,
They could not meet Lilith's terms.
So down they went, and out as well.
Quest ended when they fell.

Rating: 1 star.

Steven, Mark, Paul, Chris.
(Season's end -3)

Steven's quest was full of fun.
From the start on level one!
Folly, with his laughter back, gave them quite a cheer.
As well as some clues for there and here.
With the talisman safely in hand.
They foiled a troll's lunchtime plan.
They even gave Mildred quite a shock.
When Steven disapeared in her cave of rock.
Then they gave Cedric quite the to-do.
They dropped in on him, in level two.
After a succesful trial by wit
They proved the spider quite the twit.
Unfortunetly, they didn't solve Merlin's Riddle.
Then Mogdred played them like a fiddle.
It's tough to act, and it's not quite a lark.
They perished at the well, in the dark.

Rating: 3 Stars.

Kara, Pamela, Angela, Niccole.
(starts at the end -2)

Time did wait, and time did turn.
Unfortunetly, it gave Karen and team quite a burn.
While they were progressing quickly.
Time halted, and ended the quest rapidly.
But before that they had a grand while
Doing the dungeon backwards style.
They stopped the Automation for what it's worth,
and brought ol' Mildred back down to Earth.
As she descended down the wells of doom.
She interupted a miner with a boom.
They passed the challenge of riddles that he gave.
And passed a pit with a spell that they did save.
But were interupted at the wall from myth.
The one known as "Jericho 6."
