We store such information only for the purpose of sending our own brochure and promotional material. However, at the bottom of each e-mail which is not in reply to a customer message is a 'remove@denisebyrd.com' email address. If the potential customer wishing to terminate the correspondence then an email to this address will result in no more e-mail communication being initiated by us. It is possible that statistical totals of customer responses per country or state may be compiled but that will be sole for use by the Denise Byrd organization. The only time when a third party will ever be informed of the customer is if the customer has given us permission to contact a local stockist for the purpose of arranging a store visit. If a customer makes an original comment about Denise Byrd products then we reserve the right to e-mail them and ask for permission to quote them on in our promotional activities. Only if given permission will any quote be displayed. The exact form of such a quote will be displayed for the customer to review. It will never contain a telephone number, street number or specific information which would enable anyone to easily contact the quoted person.
III. Choices available to consumers regarding the marketing uses of the collected information.
Our customers are in control of any personal information. A customer can ensure that all personal data relating to their visit of the Denise Byrd web site will be deleted if they send an email to the web address :- remove@denisebyrd.com When the personal data is removed from our records a confirmation e-mail is sent to inform the customer that such action has taken place. V. Protection of online information.
All personal information is currently stored physically on a single computer and unavailable for any distributed network access. All personal data is stored in password protected files and strictly accessible only by authorized employees. All Denise Byrd employees are told as a matter of contract employment that if they access customer personal data without management permission for any reason, willingly or accidentally then it is an instant disciplinary matter.
VI. Changes to your privacy policy and where consumers should look to see if changes have been made.
All changes to our privacy policy will be posted in the web page titled 'Denise Byrd Customer Internet Privacy Statement' which will always be linked to any web page in which personal information could be entered.
