"Chris, I just received my USCM Rifleman kit. WOW!! I'm just astounded by the quality of... Well, the whole thing really. Aside from the high level of accuracy of the kit the resin itself is completely devoid of air bubbles (something that we UK kit makers aren't used to at all!). The instruction booklet has more information and details than most commercial kits, the attention to detail is second to none. I challenge any other garage kit maker to provide such a large amount of extra parts (webbing, wire, foam, plastic sheet etc.) to complete their kits to this standard. "Hi Chris, Shipment arrived yesterday!!!!!! In two words: GREAT STUFF. Clean and bubble free castings, best I've seen. And believe me, I've seen quite a few. Being in this business from the start (15 years +) I'm used to some pretty bad stuff. Could not find the tiniest air hole in your castings! WONDERFUL. "Hi Chris, My USCM kit showed up at work just before lunchtime, and I have to admit that I got so engrossed with checking out all the parts in the kit that I totally forgot to eat my sandwich.... I've desperately wanted a good 12" Colonial Marine action figure since the movie first came out. Now I've finally got one..... The kit is truly excellent with EVA's exceptionally high standards evident throughout. Awesomely detailed pieces, flawless castings and a load of assorted bits that bring new meaning to the term "multimedia kit". What more could one ask for?
You and John Hays are to be commended especially on the instruction manual. I've never seen a manual for a resin kit (and actually darn few mass market kits...) where the instructions were as professional, well illustrated and full of useful tips. Great work guys.
