The Visual Basic- Online User's Group is a
non-profit venture of beginner to intermediate Visual Basic Professional
Users who want to increase their programming skills and knowledge about Visual
Basic in a variety of programming areas. We welcome and encourage you
to browse, as well as submit your helpful tips and your own unique solutions
to programming 'challenges'. We welcome comments, suggestions. We're here
to help each other learn more about Visual Basic. We do not represent or
"plug" anyone's particular products, so we are an equal opportunity beta
site for beginner to intermediate oriented materials. We welcome you to stop
by and browse. A majority of those who stopped by to leave us
a response tell us their primary interests are math and science applications.
Without going into the variety of scientific disciplines which have drawn
us to Visual Basic to develop specific tools which developers can not affordably
develop for (due to the small installed user base), many of us have gone
beyond using our spreadsheets and now turn towards developing our own
applications to make our jobs easier. Graphics and graphing information were
expressed as a current need.
